[Worn and torn but...]
Summer has begun, thank goodness! I don't think I could bare another week of nagging and annoying teachers and sometimes even more annoying peers. The fact that we no longer have to choke down nasty lunch food makes it all the better.
Still, I would like my summer to begin with almost being drowned by a kid I don't even know! Oh yes it is such a lovely way to start out the summer by swimming along with your cousins only to see them get tugged under then yourself. Having arms wrapped around your neck and being shoved under isn't fun. Where is the life guard?!
But we're still alive thankfully, a little bruised and used to be a little shaken and tired but that passed by. We were just lucky that we could get them off.
Anyway, now that I'm done with my rant and tale about how my summer started....
