It starts out as a crush, as infatuation sets in.
A sudden love rush, addicted to lust and sin.
But your different, not shallow
but an addictive substanent for all to follow.
Through your eyes i can tell your no the faint of heart, a true soldier in the war of love.
Hurt before but now scars healed you move forward.
Heart locked and for you have not let the key have been dealed.
Through your eyes i can see my efforts are futile,
but I keep trying to put back the pieces of your past in order to make a change.
I can't understand this feeling to help,
but with so much pain in you there has got to be someone to help you back to your feet,
to break that shell of fear and bring joy back into those forsaken eyes.
