New Year's Eve Party!
December 31 was an awesometacular day!~ Well, at first, it didn't seem as fun as I thought it was gonna be.
I was going over to my best friend's house to sleepover. Then, I found out my cousins were coming to the party my parents and I were hosting. They nagged me into staying for the party, so I ended up giving in and saying I would stay with them. I had to call my friend and cancel the sleepover. It wasn't fun... Fortunately, she understood and left it at that, but I could tell she was a bit disappointed. :/
Well, the day finally came and I stayed on the computer until most of the guests had arrived. (NOTE: I was not allowed to invite anybody until the next day) I started random conversations with my cousins, who were about the same age as I. Then I suggested we play Mario Party on DS. It was fun. XD I won pretty much every minigame besides one. WIN!~ lol. Anyways, my cousin somehow got to invite a friend to our party... :/ I wasn't allowed to invite a friend and she was?! That sucked... Well, we waited outside for her to come and then went inside to play more DS when we had retrieved her from the drive way.
When the clock was try minute away from 2010, I put in Animal Crossings and waited for the fireworks to show up. 2 minutes later after the count down, the fire works appeared on my screen....they were cool. Animated fireworks, what could be better than that?
Suddenly, I got a call. It was my best friend calling to wish me a happy new year!~ I spoke with her for a while, then called my other friends. One of them didn't pick up and I left a message. After that, the people in the room said I said "Happy 2012" instead of "Happy 2010". I freaked out and called her back, saying I meant 2010.(I still got her voice mail, tho. >.> wink I was probably being a bit annoying calling at that time of night, since she had a friend over (I found this out when I called her out of boredom before the big party) and was probably asleep by now. ...Oh well...
Well, I stayed up 'till 1 in the morning, that's when everybody left. :/ Couldn't fall asleep 'till two, though. xD All in all, it was a grrreeeeaaat day! ;D Oh and before my cousins and their friend left, we were all on pictochat. xD
