TobiDei fanfic part 4
Itachi looked Deidara in the eye, his pleading, "please Dei, don't make me dye it. I have always left it black, and I'd like to keep my dignity. Deidara smiles weakly, "Never mind the dare, but," Deidara takes down Itachi's hair. "You should wear your hair down more. I makes you look really nice...hmm," Deidara says. Itachi eyes widen at the artists comment. He takes the ponytail holder out of Deidara's hand and puts his hair back up. "No way. If I left my hair down, do you have any idea how much people would tease me?" "And do you know how hard me and Kisame would defend you,hmm?" Deidara shoots back."Like Kisame would do that for me...he has been acting really strange ever since he joined those other 'bad boys' in the organization. Sides i don't want you caught up in my choices." Itachi sighs and looks up at the ceiling, "Besides," he gives a small smile, "I have to be prepared for the choice I am thinking about right now." Deidara turns on his side to face Itachi, his face showing confusion. "you know i have a brother right?" Itachi asks as he sits up and smooths his hair. "Hold on. Before i continue, do you know why i joined this organization?" "no idea...hmm," Deidara answers simply and sits up as well. "I joined Akatsuki because i killed my whole clan. But there was just one person that i just couldn't bring myself to kill. He was my little brother, Sasuke. So now i wait everyday, expecting him to break through one of these walls and kill me. I feel i have waited much to long, and i am not deciding whether i should go to him, or i should just continue to wait." By the time Itachi had finished his explanation he was staring blankly back at himself in a mirror in the room. Deidara's eyes widen and he quickly runs over to the weasel's side. "NO! You can't do that! You have people who love you, hmm!" Itachi's eyes cloud as he remembers that tragic night. He winces as he remembers the most horrid images of them all, his parents dead bodies in front of him, and his confused little brother running in, his face covered in tears. Deidara places a gentle hand on his arm. He knew there was nothing he could do except comfort him. Itachi gives a small smile when he felt Deidara's touch on his arm. "well...i think im going to find my shark and go talk to him..." Itachi bows in thanks to Deidara then exits the room to go find him. Deidara nods, "Luck...hmm." Itachi raises his hand to signal Deidara that he heard him. Itachi sees Kisame on the sofa so he walks over. At first he stays silent, trying to think about how to approach him about the problem. Kisame is laying across the whole sofa, listening to his I-pod. Itachi stays frozen, still unsure how to start. Got it! Ill make it short and simple. "Hey Kisame...i have a question for you. Kisame removes one of his eye buds and looks at Itachi. "what do you want, Itachi?" Kisame asks in a monotone voice. "How come you've been hanging with all the 'bad boys' of the organization? I just feel like...your doing this to try and make yourself look cool..."(Sasori, Hidan, Kakuzu=bad boys) Kisame raises an eyebrow "Itachi. Were S-rank criminals. Were ALL bad boys." Kisame points out. "I don't have to hang with those guys to be cool." "I know THAT...but i meen...they seem a little extra bad..." Itachi sighs. "Look. I'm just more afraid that your going to get hurt if you keep hanging with them..." Kisame shrugs and continues to look into his eyes. "Kisame, your not getting my point. You might get hurt, its like what happened with Dei. His heart got broken slightly because he hung out with Sasori to much. I just don't want you to get hurt, alright?" Kisame looks into Itachi's troubled, yet caring eyes. A sudden wave of pain stirred through him. All he wanted at the very moment was to make the boy's pain his. To take away his sorrows and see that beautiful smile he rarely got to see. Kisame couldn't fight it anymore. He pulls Itachi into his arms and runs his fingers through Itachi's hair as he whispers apologies and sweet nothings into the weasel's ear. Itachi gives a small smile as he sees the shark's lovable side once again, but then he stiffens slightly. "Uh Kisame... you might want to-" but it was to late. Hidan's white hair was already beginning to head their way. Kisame jerks his head up and stares at Hidan with slightly surprised eyes. Even so, he still doesn't loosen his grip around Itachi. "Kisame, what the ******** are you doing to Itachi?" Hidan asks since he sees Kisame's arms around Itachi. He chuckles and then bats his eye lashes at them tauntingly, "Awww, do you have a new boyfriend Kisame?" Kisame smirks and answers Hidan's question with a passionate kiss to Itachi. Itachi's grip tightened at the abruptness of the shark. what the hell is he doing!?" Hidan's mouth almost fell open at the sight, but then busts out laughing. "Wait till everyone hears about this, neh Kisame? Man are they going to enjoy it!" Kisame pulls Itachi closer and glares at Hidan. "You had your fun, now leave." "Actually Kisame, the real reason I came here was that there was a meeting, and no one else volunteered to come and get you, so i did. So...uh let go of your...um...it friend...and come with me." Hidan says crossing his arms. Kisame smirks "I bet Kakuzu would LOVE to see the love letters about him that you've stored." Kisame shoots back a mocking smile on his face. Hidan stiffens,"What!? How the hell did you know about those!?" Kisame reluctantly lets go of the weasel and walks over to the flustered Hidan. "I didn't, I was bluffing, but thanks for the info." Kisame laughs. "Lets go, we have a meeting to get to. I'll be back later Itachi." Kisame says as he leaves the room, not waiting for Hidan at all. Hidan glares at the back of Kisame, but then walks over to Itachi. "Here Itachi-chan," Hidan batters his eye lashes mockingly again, "This is from your little shark lover," Hidan then yanks Itachi's hair, pulling it out of its ponytail, and hurting Itachi's neck in the process. "Later," Kisame heard the commotion and does a U-turn back into the room. Kisame runs over to Itachi, and then glares up at Hidan, thinking about whether he should go get his sword or not. He looks deep into Itachi's eyes giving him a silent, "I'm here, but i will be right back." Kisame comes back with Samehada and an unstoppable rage in his eyes. "What the hell are you-" but Hidan didn't finish since Kisame had already knocked Hidan's head clean off. He hacks on the body a bit more, but then runs back over to Itachi to double check that he is alright, cradling him in his arms. Itachi smiles and looks at Kisame, "Don't worry, I'm ok, my stomach hurts a little, but that will bruise and disappear in a couple of days. Right now," Itachi looks down at Hidan's motionless body and continues, "You need to get to your meeting, I think I'll be able to help Hidan..." Itachi says as he gets out of Kisame's firm grasp and smooths down his now ruffled hair as he puts it back into its rightful ponytail. "Jashin damn Kisame, that was fun but boy did it hurt!" Hidan's head complains as he looks at the rest of his scattered body. Kisame shakes his head "You go hang with Deidara, he may be sick, but I know he can protect you while I'm at the meeting." Kisame says sternly, ignoring the severed head on the floor. "I was just with Dei though, and he didn't seem sick to me. Sure he seemed a little pale, but not sick. Besides, Tobi should be back soon, and i know he will want to go and tend to Deidara. Also, Hidan is in pieces, so there is not possible way he can hurt me, other then bite me, but i can take that. I'll clean up here, and you go to your little meeting." Itachi said as he began to pick up the pieces, whether Kisame approved or not. Kisame sighs, "You know Deidara never showed you what's going with him. You probably just fell for his act." Kisame says as he heads for the door. Itachi looks at Kisame with a confused look, but continues picking up the pieces. Kisame stops for a moment, "Take care of yourself," then he finally leaves his side. Itachi gives a small nod and watches Kisame exit the room. Kakuzu sees Kisame walking over, only he didn't have Hidan with him. Kisame takes notice of the look Kuzu gives him as he takes his seat at the table. "Hidan will be running a little late," Kisame says as if it happened many times before. Kakuzu sighs and looks at Kisame, no humor in his green eyes, "what did you do to him Kisame?" Kisame shrugs, "He pissed me off, don't worry though, someone's picking up the pieces." "May i ask whom? Becuase he needs to bring Hidan here right now." After Kakuzu had finished Tobi walks into the room and looks around. He knew these were the "cream of the crop" of this organization. He just gave them a small nod and then went back towards Deidara's room. Kisame turns to Tobi" Oi, go get Itachi will ya? Tell him to bring Hidan's head as well." Tobi looks back over his shoulder. He glares at Kisame but he knows it will go unnoticed because of his mask. He goes over and pounds on Itachi's door. "Neh, Weasel-san your shark is calling. He wants to bring Hidan as well!" "K!" Itachi replies as the door opens and he walks out. Deidara lays on his bed panting. It surprised him that he was able to hide the fact that he was sick from Itachi. His success meant, to him, that he was getting better.
