Dramatis Personae

Fukumoto, Suzume - 32, Female, Japanese. Listener. Protector
Suzume is the mother of Souzoku and aunt to Meian. A very calm, kind woman, Suzume loves her daughter and niece very much, and teaches them the rules regarding the Others. She would do anything to keep the two girls safe, and that includes keeping the identity of Souzoku's father a secret.
Fukumoto, Souzoku - 16, Female, Japanese. Seer. Inspector
Daughter of Suzume, and cousin to Meian, Souzoku is a very quiet, cheerful girl. Despite being able to See the Others when they are otherwise hidden from human eyes, she tends to be very down-to-earth and sticks close to the rules and traditions her mother has taught her. She's rarely found far from Meian, and despite her amiable personality, she has few friends outside of her cousin.
Fukumoto, Meian - 16, Female, Japanese-English. Listener. Performer
Niece of Suzume and cousin to Souzoku. Meian is an energetic, outgoing girl with a tendency to be dramatic. She loves making others smile, and has a talent for singing. She doesn't follow the rules regarding the Others as closely as Souzoku...but if it involves her cousin's safety, Meian will follow it to a tee.
Abson, Kaida - 21, Female, Japanese-European Mutt. Seer. Composer
Quiet and anti-social around strangers, bright and lively around friends. Kaida is intensely loyal to those she considers closest to her, and keeps her heart closed to those who aren't. She is stubborn and has a ferocious temper once her limits are reached, but she has a lot of things inside that are broken...most of them a direct result of being able to See the Others.
Moroz, Anya - 24, Female, Ukrainian. Normie. Inspector
Anya is a steady rock in a sea of 'wtf'. She's not the sort to get bogged down with fancy things, and refuses to let herself get too big an ego. She keeps her feet firmly planted on the ground, and has trouble in believing there is more to some of her co-workers than meets the eye...
Whittiker, Nakia - 19, Female, English-Egyptian. Mage(Tech). Inspector
Sharp-tongued, sarcastic, and generally not the sort of person most want to hang around. She's been called 'b***h', 'ice queen', and numerous other things...including 'whore' because of the fact she has a kid. She just doesn't really give a damn, because she has her friends, and she's kind (in her own way) to them and her son. She is a talented Techno-mage, and one hell of a gamer and hacker.
Whittiker, Orrick - 2, Male, English-Egyptian-Irish. Normie OR Mage(Too young to tell). Too Young
Nakia's son. He's a sweet child, and seems to have a good sense of who to trust and who to avoid. He is rarely found far from his mother or 'Auntie Kyoko'.
Akarui, Kyoko - 18, Female, Japanese. Werewolf.
Cheerful, outgoing, and has NO concept of 'personal bubble'. Or moderation. She also has a temper, and is a bit of a combat junkie. As such, Kyoko enjoys her job as the 'peacekeeper' in the Maxwell Clinic. What's odd, however, is how much she adores her 'nephew' Orrick, and dotes on him.
'Húli',Yuèliang - Appears early 40s, Female, Appears Chinese. Kitsune. Supervisor
Once the servant of Inari's Avatar, Yuèliang now hides Inari's half-mortal daughter from him in plain sight...among the mortals, with her own three kits acting as the child's 'older siblings'. A proud, mischievous woman, Yuèliang will do anything to ensure her Mistress' last wish is fulfilled.
'Húli', Wǔdǎo - 23, Female, Appears Chinese. Kitsune. Performer
Daughter of Yuèliang. Wǔdǎo is a cheerful girl, often found out and about with her 'baby sister'. She loves shopping, clubbing, and dancing...but despite her seemingly flighty personality, she can get down to business at the drop of a hat. She is extremely protective of Mìmì.
'Húli', Chàng- 23, Male, Appears Chinese. Kitsune
Son of Yuèliang. Chàng is much like his 'older' sister, outgoing and friendly. He loves being surrounded by people, and his favorite pass-time is karaoke and hanging out at the local shopping center's food court.
'Húli', Zhàndòu- 23, Male, Appears Chinese. Kitsune
Son of Yuèliang. Zhàndòu is much quieter than his siblings, and much more disciplined. Out of the three of them, he takes his duty of protecting Mìmì most seriously. He is rarely far from her, and often acts as a bodyguard. He IS the scary big brother who will glare at the potential boyfriend until he leaves.
'Húli', Mìmì - 17, Female, Appears Japanese-English. Half-God(Inari)
Adopted daughter of Yuèliang. Daughter of Inari and his Avatar, Kitsune. A firecracker with a temper, Mìmì is constantly getting herself into trouble and dragging poor Zhàndòu into it with her. She loves pranks, jokes, and fighting for the 'underdog'. She hates rules and regulations, and is constantly having run-ins with the Others.
leCroix, Chase - 25, Male, French. Werewolf
Chase is...ODD. Even though he's definitely not a weakling, he's a big softy. He's friendly and flirtatious, and will let himself get hit if he pushes too far with a straight guy. Yes, Chase is gay. He doesn't claim otherwise. He's also the best bartender in the city, and highly protective of his adopted little sister Clair.
leCroix, Clair - 17, Female, Unknown. Unknown.
Adopted sister of Chase. NO ONE knows what she is, or what her abilities fall under. Chase's father Nuit found her one day, covered in claw wounds and near death. She is named for her healing abilities and the feathery feel of her odd-colored hair. Angel is a no-nonsense girl with no sense of shame and a tendency to get into fights with the wrong people because they've offended her sense of what is right and wrong.

Maxwell, Duo - 25, Male, American Mutt. Necromancer.
Possibly one of the STRANGEST doctors you will ever meet, Duo is generally cheerful and outgoing. He can be described as a 'goofball'...but there's a lot more to him than that. Needless to say, he's very good at playing the idiot.
