Looking at the yearbooks from my high school day
Seeing all the friends I had and what they had to say
All the things they wrote are here
All their feelings were so clear
But reading these words makes me wonder

Where are they now?
Where are the friends I used to have?
When times got bad
Where did they go?
Where are they now?
Where are the actions to the words they wrote?
That's all I want to know.....
Where are they now?

Words like 'I am glad I know you' float off the page.
'Let's always be friend forever' and 'never change'
But what were all these written for?
Things to say and nothing more.
They aren't the friends I remember.

So where are they now?
Why do the good times all seem gone?
As time went on
Where did they go?
Where are you now?
And why have you grown so far away?
Did we really change that much somehow?
Where are you now?

When life seems all too impossible to bear?
And the troubles and the pressures seem to come at you from no where
I hope that you can think back the way that I do
I hope that you remember me, like I remember you.

Tell me where? Where are you now?
Where is the friendship that we shared?
The friendships that we cared for tell me where?!
Where are you now?
I hope your life is going well
And I hope that you can tell
That all I want to know some how.....
