Hear Their...Apocalyptic Screams
The Earth trembled fiercely as a paw slammed down on the Earth's Crust. A figure jumped through the sand and skidded across the dirt. The figure jumped again this time landing on the Creature. The Dust died down. Raven Castallean drew his sword. "Let's Hear..that..Apocalyptic SCREAM!" Raven slammed his sword down into the Creature's mane. A roar echoed so loud and far, it seemed to shake the skies. Raven jumped off and hit the dirt hard. He sheathed his weapon and started running away as the Colossal figure fell to the ground, causing a mini earthquake. He sprinted in the tough sand until he made it to a hill. He looked down and saw the massive figure slowly die. The monster sized hills shook violently. Sand blew through the sick, dirty air as Raven pulled up his scarf over his mouth and nose. The light gray scarf flew along with the wind as he stared at the Dead Guardian. The sand began to eat the dead carcass, burying the Guardian under the thick desert. Raven Calmly turned around and walked off into the scorching desert. He continued to walk in the vast wasteland until he saw a figure in the distance. It began coming closer. "Must be a mirage." Raven told himself. He carried on ignoring the figure. He approached a large wooden pole sticking out of the sand. It had a blank orange flag on it, with tears and rips from previous sandstorms. Raven then made an immediate left turn. He swiped the sweat from his head. His messy brown hair was wet from sweat and looked almost black. It was over his eyes as he carried on. He didn't dare lift up his arms to fix it. He was much too weak right now. He lifted up his head a bit and gazed off into the distance. He could see the desert end and saw the green freshness of grass. He walked on then collapsed on the grass. His hands near his head, grasping the wet, cool grass. He turned his head and fell asleep. Then, a dark figure approached Raven from the distance. It was coming from the desert. As the figure came closer, Raven cocked his head up. He could hear the sand kicking as the figure stepped closer. Raven slowly got up and drew his sword. He turned towards the figure. Then he froze. All he could see of the figure was a silhouette of a man. It was like a shadow in human form. Raven was in complete bewilderment. Also he felt fear. A horrible fear creeping up in his heart. He could feel the heart slam against his chest. Raven backed off, very slowly. He was all alone out here...with this Thing. He was afraid to attack or defend, not knowing what would happen. He sheathed his sword then turned around and ran. He sprinted across the grass. He ran towards a very large building with a long bridge attached to it. So long and far, He couldn't see the end. Raven entered the building slowly, cautiously examining the surroundings. Then he saw an opening in the stone walls. He rushed over to them and looked out. "Where is it?" Raven couldn't find it. It was as if it vanished..buried in the sand, forever lost. Raven felt relieved. His back slid down against the rough stone wall. He held his chest as his heart calmed. "Maybe I should just leave, this is forbidden land. I don't belong here. The Land of Aires is a curse." Then Raven shook his head. "No, I can't leave. The Guardians need to be stopped and I'm the only one that can stop them."
