Gaia Online is a great teacher. Just look in the Site Feedback forum sometime. You find people learning lessons of patience, and disappointment. That you may scream and yell and name call, but you still won't always get your way. And the best things, like EI finales and Monthly Collectables, are worth waiting for.
You learn that if you want to make gold you have to put in the effort to attain it, just like if you want to earn money you need to be employed. And it teaches you that your money does not make you a better person, or allow you special rules or favors.
Learn these lessons well, you Gaians, and you may yet survive in the real world.
