Yep my mom got tickets, yay. I wasn;t really thrilled considering she again told me last minute and treated me like s**t. We don't get along but we like certain things, Dr. Oz maybe one of them.
So after an hour of traffic on the L.I.E. we reach Manhatten, 30 Rock is easy to find cuz I've been there twice before, and I should know what the building looks like cuz I'm a New Yorker, and if I don't I suck.
So it took forever to find a parking space 10 minutes, until I found a parking garage, I had a coupon so we paid half the price of a 6 hours, NICE. I'm thoughtful like that.

So 30 Rock just to let you know is a AWESOME BUILDING. Very Art Deco, the finest material on the first 2 floors. I swear art tours should be done there. Brass, bronze, marble, granite, you name it. Now i can copy Brooklyn accent pretty fast since I live kinda close, not that close but close, so I don't sound like some tourist mook. Believe me mooks everywhere, friggen standing in the middle of the street to take a picture and they wonder why I'm honking! HELLO ITS THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET MORON! YOU'LL BE KILLED!

I swear some of them should get run over for lack of brains. twisted Same for some New Yorkers, cuz they mean bishes. Not all just the jaywalkers. I HATE JAYWALKERS! evil

Anyway so we find mom's co-workers. YAY they saved us the first spot in a very, VERY long line for pre-ordered tickets. After 15 minutes of standing we are told to get bands *they hand out* then got to lunch for 2 and half hours. OMGWTF! Thats thew LONG lunch.

Well we split up cuz mom can't walk far in her high heels *wore to look high, as did I*, and we wen to a Pret, its a very nice little eatery chain. I swear I had the best Salad and Sandwich I ever had at a restaurant. Fresh and seasoned perfectly.
So after the=at long lunch we waited another 15 minutes to get upstairs for filming. Then another 5 minutes to get inside studio and sit. After that another 5 minutes to get prepped ans syched (we wern't amused too much with the waiting, were like confused ) But we got split again from her co-workers which bummed us out. We wanted to be next to sane people, not WOOT people, yelling in out ears all taping.
The comic there to prep us was very funny, but we were sick of standing all day. SO not amused by that. We were seated right BEHIND Dr. Oz, so we saw the back of his head all taping. Getting very pissed at that point. Show was fast cuz Dr. Oz was in a hurry I think he had a surgery. Get didn't get to have our questions answered then that blew by. I was like O_o. It was over the end. Mom and I wear O_o, and she said, I've never doing this again, this is crazy! Friggen standing all day for an hour taping, WTF. My thoughts exactly. gonk

Anyway on the show, the studio is the size of a room as big as my first floor, I swear really things look bigger on television. Fox rents out studio space from other studios, thus at 30 Rock. Studios really are small. We all were like eek when we saw how small it really is, AND it was the site of the old Conan show. I love Conan, dam Leno he is a bitter old man with no fresh material, relies on writers all the time. I know. Don't even contest with me. Same for Letterman the *^#*(!. mad

So after taping we end the night by trying to go to Nobu, but we couldn't find it AGAIN, we are convinced it doesn't exist on this realm of existence anymore, only in movieland world. (that mean rich people place, only they know where it is.)
So we go near GC to eat at an Indian restaurant, great Sambocas, salty bread, great lamb, goat, and rice. I am loving Patel Brothers too, but wish it was more organized. And why do Indian women scowl so much I swear they all do, every one of them in the store except for the young girls. WTF. They never smile when I smile at them. Is it cuz I'm not Indian? Why thats silly!

So that was out wild adventure. I told dad the whole thing and he said he was at a taping of Jeopardy back in the day, and that the room was the size of out living room. He was a lil disappointed too. So I asked him if the moral of the day was:
It's better to stay in magical fairyland (tv land), then its is to see your heroes/fav tv stars in action. Because all you will be is disappointed.
And at that all 3 of us agreed for once, sighed and wen to sleep.

PS. to get tickets for SNL is a b***h. ITS A Raffle! and only my letter in August you MAY get them, may as in tough luck buddy. and NO you can't choose who you wanna see. No matter how rich you are. Unless you work at 30 Rock or the TV biz.
