I never thought I’d find that romantic love,
The kind you find in storybooks,
Where you just can’t stop thinking of the person,
They’re all you’ve ever wanted.
But since we first met,
You’ve been my world.
I know I’m not anything special,
A scullery maid next to you,
The princess,
Beautiful,
Funny,
Sweet,
Smart,
But I’ve always been here.
Every word I’ve said in anger,
Every night I cursed your name,
Jealous little moments,
My love, I apologize.
I was blinded by fury,
That others could so easily have you,
When obviously they were not worthy.
How others could make you cry
And I could do nothing.
I tried to deny my feelings,
I tried to just move on,
But honestly, though its cliche,
Nothing really made sense
When you were gone.
I missed your riddles.
I missed your rhymes.
Your innocence, your evilness,
Almost everything.
I missed your arms around me,
And the way you spoke of your dreams.
It wasn’t until the other night,
That I started thinking,
Maybe we are meant to be.
Because I can’t stop thinking about you,
I never have..
And I still remember that first night
When I saw you
And all I could think
Is damn
She’s beautiful.

I Wish The Real World Would Just Stop Hassling Me
I seem to have two kinds of thoughts:
Poetry and rants
If you don't want to wade through one or the other, don't read. Honestly, you're better off that way.

Silence your harsh words, my dear....
My ears are ringing of this,
I can't stop thinking of it.
...I try to reach you but I fall....
My ears are ringing of this,
I can't stop thinking of it.
...I try to reach you but I fall....
