The Death of Sasuubi
I heard blood-curling laughter echo through my head. Thought-speak...? Oh, no..., I thought looking around, my eyes showing that I was horrified. It... It can't be.... Has he been hiding in the castle all this time...? No..., I thought, looking around, absolutely terrified.
"Zaredera...!", I said, my voice shaky. I would never, ever forget him. I couldn't. A door suddenly burst from its hinges, wood pieces scattering everywhere. I saw that evil dark matter slowly spread across the floor. I turned back into my human form and ran, then felt a hand grab me by the shoulder.
{You wont get away this time, Little Girl}, He thought-spoke to me, and I turned around. I heard the ringing screams of my kin as they suffered at his hand, and I knew it was from the past.
"You... You monster!", I said to him, getting out a bowie knife. He laughed again.
{Look at you. The only thing that has changed is your courage and your tallness, not to mention you look more like a woman. Now its time to finish where I left off}, He said in thought-speak, grabbing me by the neck. I grabbed his wrist, trying to pry off his hand, forgetting about the bowie knife. His eyes shined with delight. Zaredera tilted his head a little to the side.
{More of them? This one almost equals your power. Is it... Your copy? I wont waste my time. Consider it dead.}, He sneered, and faint yowling was heard, cut short by a gurgling sound.
"You... There are no words to describe what you are...!", I managed to say. I didn't recognize my own voice, it was so weak and far-off. My vision blurred, and I clenched my hands and felt the bowie knife. I tried to slash at his arm but I felt his other hand close around my wrist. He broke my wrist and I let go of the knife. I yelled out in pain, but it sounded like a whisper. I felt him jerk my body against the wall, but it didn't hurt. I soon became unconscious.I soon woke back up because of a searing pain in my chest. I yelled out silently, and looked down. There was a dark matter sword through my chest, inches away from my heart. So... This is the end, I thought as he took out the sword and aimed it at my heart.
{I wanted you to suffer before you died... Just like my parents}, He said to me in thought-speech, starting to bring his sword down. I saw Yono in his demon form lunge for Zaredera, knocking him over.
"DON'T KILL HER!!!", I heard him yell. It was far-off, and I knew it was already too late for me to survive. With my remaining strength, I said as loudly as I could in my almost dead state,
"Goodbye... Yono". I knew I had already lost too much blood from the first attack. Darkness washed over me, and I heard , ever so faintly...
"Sasuubi!".
