Hey, I'm Ryuko Koshiba, people call me Ringtone, get used to it. I have the worst luck in being in places at the wrong time, and this was no exception. I was walking home one day whenI heard a loud clanging noise coming from a dark alleyway with a weird green light shining from it. Not being able to resist, I walk into the alley slowly, repeating to myself"Curiosity killed the cat, curiosity killed the cat..." Which didn't really work by the way. So I'm walking, and I stub my toe on a trash can. Of course this brings attention to me, and three thugs look over in my direction, but it doesn't look like they notice me. "********!! That hurt!" I jsut had to scream... Another thug comes from up behind me and hits me over the head with a steel pipe, knocking me out cold.

When I wake up, I realize I'm tied to a hook and hanging in mid air, I witness people dipping pumkins and cats into a pool of radioactive waste, I guess they're trying to make a true Halloween cat..... Anyway... the crane holding me in the air starts moving, and I see them getting out a cat and a pumpkin, and soon I'm lowered into the radioactive waste, along with the cat and pumpkin.... But something strange happens.... I'm not burnt, but I'm in pain, it felt like I was being forced together with other objects, so I eventually jump out of the pool of radioative waste and land on a rail, not realizing it, but I had perfect balance.

The thugs came at me.... but somehow I started fighting them off with ease, like somthing was coming over me, I wasn't myself.... and when the fighting was done... I came to my senses and Ran. I get home and go to bed, but I wake up, and I have orange cat ears and a cat tail.... both having somthing related to a pumpkin designed on them. I decided to start fighting crime, and now, I'm more than just Ringtone now.... I've decided that now... I will be... The Pumkat!!! Protecting the weak and helpless.
