Adin opened the coffin. I held my breath. And inside was....
a girl. Probably the same age as I was. She was beautiful. She had golden brown hair that was slightly curly. Adin was even more shocked than I was. And he said one word that shocked me the most.
"Mary..." he said.
I silently gasped. He touched her hand. He discovered in her hand was a beautiful red scarf. He picked it up. It was silk. He let me have it. And he looked in her other hand. In it was a bottle with green liquid in it. There was a cup next to the bottle. Adin filled the cup with the green stuff. He must have been really nervous, because he did something not very vampire-like. He tripped and he fell on me. The green liquid splashed everywhere, and some of it landed in my mouth. It tasted really gross and delicious at the same time. And then I was sorta addicted. I didn't like the drink, but I couldn't control myself. I grabbed the bottle and drank all of it. But then I saw on the bottle that it said, "Humans-Drink this." I began to think this wasn't such a good idea. But then, Mary awoke. And then I felt really, really sick.
