"Adin....That would be dangerous! Who would bite her??" Rina questioned.
"I don't know! I was just brainstorming!!!" Adin said.
"Is it the only way to save her?" asked Mary.
"Probably. The poison is spreading rapidly. If we don't make a decision soon, it could potentially kill her," said Robert.
Sam kept quiet the entire time. And I felt even worse. I wondered when I would see the light......And if I should go towards it.
"Okay, okay..." Adin said. "We have to make a decision now. Make sure whoever bites her isn't thirsty. She smells good so someone might lose control. Who's willing to save her?" Rina, Robert and Mary raised their hands.
"Wait," Mary put her hand down. "Is it necessary to bite her? Couldn't she drink somebody's venom like you did to mine?"
"It would take too long," Robert said. "The venom has to be digested before it can take effect. But we have less than an hour. Maybe even 30 minutes before she dies. We have to do this the fast way."
Rina stepped forward. "I'll bite her. Make sure no one gets hyper. We have to do this now."
Adin protested. "No!! I should bite her! I have recently gone hunting!"
"Really, people?!" yelled Mary. "Are we seriously having this argument right now? Over who gets to bite Taylor?!"
I just layed there, thinking. How much would it hurt? Was it worth all of this trouble just to keep me alive?
"Um..." I said. "I don't think I have much time left! SOMEONE DO SOMETHING!"
How long would they fight over who bites me! Personally, I want Rina to.
"I'm going to do it now. We have to. Taylor, hold your arm out," Adin said.
I held my arm out and tensed it, ready for pain. His face was really close to my arm. I could feel him breathing on it. Then he stopped breathing. I knew he was going to bite me. And he did. It burned like hell. My arm was probably going to fall off. I looked at Adin, and his eyes got really dark. Uh oh. A drop of my blood dripped onto the floor, and Adin and Mary stared. I thought they were going to drool. Rina yelled, "NO ADIN!" at the same time Robert yelled, "MARY!"
And Rina and Robert jumped over to Adin and Mary. But they weren't fast enough. Adin and Mary lunged for me. And I stared at Sam, standing there so quietly. He was upset I could tell. And the burning was spreading. And Adin and Mary were almost drooling on my arm and everything went black. The last thing I saw was Sam's face, a lone tear running down his cheek.
