this has been a great semester for me, both grade and health wise. I've been a hell of a lot better now that I've had my wisdom teeth removed, and guess what? That alone got rid of my migraines. I haven't had a migraine since December of last year, can you believe it? That's odd enough in itself because I basically was known to be in almost constant pain. Now that the problem with that was taken care of I was able to focus on my schoolwork, and I have to admit its a hell of a lot easier doing so when I'm not worrying about what I have to take next to get rid of a migraine.
I for one thought that I would have to stick with Teaching as a major because of my migraines, but things changed so quickly for me during this winter semester and I found that I might be able to go back to working towards what I really want to be, a nurse. I'm going to be applying for another college to transfer to in the fall, and hopefully I can get in and start working on my nursing prerequisites there. Its really damn freaky that I don't have a migraine at the moment and I've been capitalizing on it. That's just like me though, so don't expect anything else.
I have finals during the week of the nineteenth so I'm going to be rather busy up until then, and that week will be the worst for me. Moving all of my stuff out of my dorm, taking my finals...its going to wear on my nerves a bit. The good thing about that is the fact that I'll actually have time to come back here when my finals are done. I won't have to worry about keeping my grades up because I was worried that I would relapse back into my migraine cycle, so I can go back to being on here about every other day like I was.
Great isn't it? I'll be back to a while at least.
