I'm writing this quickly while I can remember it. I'm still a little tired.

So it started out with me in my back yard. I think some friends were playing football. These planes fly by. Then more planes fly by. There were a lot of helicopter sounds. It starts feeling odd to me that so many planes are flying by. Eventually I look up and there's this huge army of planes in the sky. They're all flying in the same direction, and shortly after, I see missiles shooting from them. There's obviously a battle or war of sorts, so I look for this friend of mine.

I'm pretty sure by this time that people have dispersed. I'm not too sure, but I started getting this vibe that we were the only ones there. I find my friend, and I'm sorta freaked out. He's with a female friend. He has lots of those I don't know. I look up again and I see this plane spiraling out of control. It crashes right into the neighbor's garage, and then I notice it's smaller than a car. My friend called it a Potato Ship. Because I uh . . . never heard of anything like that, I express my confusion and he explains we're actually part of a civilization in the sky, and that we need to get on his ship quickly. Apparently the place we're part of was at war with another.

I don't remember how skeptical I was, but soon there were more planes and they were approaching us. The planes then merged and completely transformed into a giant ship. The base of the giant ship was in my garage, so I would assume the place was mostly totaled. From there we went inside it, and I can remember worrying about the exhaust when we were near the bottom. I got to pilot the ship, and going up into the clouds was amazing. It was one of those dream moments you wish you had more dreams about, like flying. Then we could see the clouds below us, and all sorts of foreign, civilization above us. I remember seeing a tank too.

We were able to exit immediately, and we headed toward the palace. As we're going there, we meet a little girl from our side who recognizes my friend as the king. We also learn more about everything. I find out that somehow I'm some kind of royalty as well. Now, this part is hard to explain. Our side is kind of like a bad side, but we were actually more like the good guys in this war. It's sort of like the game Disgaea. The bad is mostly trivial and gimmicky. I'm trying to think of another example . . . Maybe it would be like if the people from Nightmare Before Christmas were at war with a bunch of jerks.

Anyway, we head toward the palace and suddenly all the doors shut. It's apparently a trap of some sort. We look around for a way in and manage to scale one of the fences. On the other side, there isn't access into the palace, but we find a large pile of lock picks. We go back over the fence, to open a door. Now, this door is one of those doors that close via two sides meeting in the middle, you know, to create a thin, vertical line in the middle when they close. I think those doors are in futuristic places, or maybe there are giant ones that planes (Hmm, interesting) fly out of. Anyway, we open it by just poking and tugging at the middle with a bunch of lock picks. It's amazing how ridiculous dreams can get without you noticing until you're awake.

Once inside, we tug at a book on a bookshelf to enter secret stairs. The stairs lead us to a top secret military room. We meet a military strategist and another friend who briefs us on the war. We're assigned tasks to help, and we repeat them to make sure we understand. Then the new guy we met repeats that his task is to destroy the Earth, which they call "Valor" for whatever reason. We're on their side, so he basically reveals he's a traitor. He escapes as alarms go off and we receive word that the palace is going to explode. One would think this part would be scary, but it turned out really cool. We got to expertly escape and walk away from this huge explosion like in action movies.

I woke up at this point. But wow. What was that? I never have dreams like that.
