Atlanta Anime Day
So, today I went with my friends to a small little convention by the name of "Atlanta Anime Day". I dressed as Sailor Jupiter from Sailor Moon, while my other friends dressed as Alphonse from Fullmetal Alchemist, Patty from Lucky Star, and a gender-bended Lavi from D.Gray-Man. First we got to the convention and was greeted by tons of anime fans. I was the first for someone to take my picture. XD We later discovered it was a pretty small place to host an anime con... But, it was still fuuun~ Tons of people took my picture. But, the highlight of the day was that I got a hug from an America cosplayer from Axis Powers Hetalia. X333 The girl was so much into character that I thought I was talking to the actual person.~ Oh...and when lunch came around, we went to McDonalds only to find several more Hetalia cosplayers. There was a Chibitalia, Greece, Japan, Sweden, Sealand, and I can't remember who else...if there were others. XD We all watched them for a while and ate our food, then comes in the America cosplayer along with the Russia cosplayer who was with him. XDDD We all freaked out. After that, ANOTHER Russia cosplayer comes up with a Belarus cosplayer and they all meet with the other countries. It was a freaking World Conference! My friend, the gender-bended Lavi, stalked them with a camera and took tons of video. She's probably gonna upload it on youtube. XD Anywho, after that, we went to the Dollar Store and got candy for our movie. A lady there asked us why we were dressed that way, so we told her we just got back from an anime convention. She said we were all cute.~ After that, we went and saw "How to Train Your Dragon". It was funny. x33
But, the worst part of the day was that one of my friends couldn't make it. D; We all really did miss her...and so did Iggy since a cosplayer of him wasn't at the convention.
Anyway, I didn't buy much at the convention. All I got was a $10 grab bag with two $10 items(a manga and a figure) and some buttons. I'm selling the manga on ebay, since I dun't like it. :/ Anywho! That was just my little fill of anime before the BIG anime convention...Anime Weekend Atlanta. I plan on going with my sister in Hungary cosplay(when I get enough money to make it and grow my hair out a little more...>_> wink for the full three days and meeting up with mai friends on Saturday!~ OOOH!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! Until then, this has been an update by InsaneCookiez. Love all of you~
