Right. This is my first datalog, and I dunno if I should do it through my perspective or my character's perspective, but I'm doing the latter for a more RP experience. Small note, I'm not going to include his pre-journal Operations because the Operation he was in currently has a sequel, and that throws off the style. However, I will be including ongoing Ops.))

I got promoted to Sergeant today. I was really happy. I don't know why I am experiencing this kind of "non" enthusiasm... Oh, I know now. There's this recruit I trained, named Alana De'Vir. Man, you should see her body, it's like a "holy s**t I could die tomorrow if you gave me a hug today" type. But what really made me admire her is her determined green eyes. I like green, emerald, jade, whatnot. Green is somehow a comfortable color, it makes me relaxed. She's a good recruit, smart, friendly, patient, all you could ask and more from a recruit.

We've had our awkward moments, because it was my first time being a D.I., and I was only a Corporal back then. I was the "fun" Corporal, doing changes here and there to traditional steps, but closely following the old ways. I've held her gentle yet firm hand. If there was one thing I regret doing to her is shooting her with a rubber round during the last part of the Marine Training Course. I had to steel her and the other recruits for that, because I won't always be the one who will be shooting at them.

Speaking about admirations, I also met this lady named Helena. I have difficulty pronouncing her last name, but she takes Helena fine. She's got blonde hair and a happy yet "no bullcrap" type of attitude. I met her here, in Analasia's capital, Luminasince Silva. My XO has been quite busy, so I had to do his paperwork.

But all that aside, guess what I else I found out today, journal. My friend, my brother, Thrie Barton, got promoted too! He's now PFC, and I'm really proud for him. It makes me cry to think that I got to witness FNGs that could bring change, REAL heavy legit ones.

Oh yeah, before I end this datalog, I just want to say that Alana's cheesecakes are amazing. You should try it sometime, journal. It's good for you. Anyway, until I write on you again, stay dry and don't wander from my pack.
