Why Today Rocks?
My day started out pretty bad with me waking up late, my homeroom teacher getting mad at our class, and one of my besties wasn't at school that day. But, slowly, everything began to get better. Our 7th period swapped with our 2nd period, thus making English my last class. So, of course, we went to our 7th period class first which was History for me. We were doing a project, but I got bored and put my friend's hair in pigtails. XD Then, my other friend put them in pigtail-braids. She kept them there pretty much two periods and a half. Then took them down when her teacher started calling her "Pippy Longstockings" ...I think. XD Anywho! I went off to technology next and we were testing our towers. I was one of the lucky few who got to test today.~ My tower held 57.5 pounds and everyone said it was awesome watching me stack the weights higher and higher. That was, until one of the other girls in my class stole my glory by having a tower that held 80 pounds. :/ Oh well... I still had the higher ratio, since mine weighed less than hers. Off to PE I went...only to find out we had to run the mile. GREAT! But, as my teacher was giving role call, he told me I didn't have to run since I improved three times. WHOOT! But, of course, I still had to run two of the usual four laps. Pfft...Half the mile. Good thing I had a friend with me who didn't have to run it, either. So, we ran the two laps together and went inside to join the others who didn't have to run the mile in a game of kickball. NOTE: I suck at every sport imaginable...except when I'm goalie, playing softball, or playing dodge ball. XD I'm pretty good at deflecting, hitting, and dodging...just not catching much. :/ So, of course, my friend and I were put on separate teams. That part sucked. D'x But, while my team was in the outfield, I, surprisingly, caught the first out for our team. That NEVER happened to me. After that, I went back into the locker room and saw a penny on heads, picked it up, and placed it in my pocket. That was definitely a good sign the rest of the day was going to be great. Well, the day went by as normal, I went to all my classes and got all my homework done. Today was pretty good. But, it got even better when I got off the bus this afternoon. I noticed my grandmother's van waiting for me, so I jumped inside, thankful for the ride. Just then, out of nowhere, I was attacked by a 2nd grader. It was my cousin...The one I hadn't seen in several months due to his mom being a total whore and never letting anybody near him. I hugged him tight and started crying along with my grandmother. The only person who didn't cry was my little cousin. So, the rest of the day played out with me hanging with my cousin for like 20 minutes, then going with my grandmother to take him home. I was glad to see him. Today was one of the most amazing days ever.
