I changed the title for this later, because for some reason I didn't like that one, it didn't sum up what these past couple of days have been about. Come to think of it, this one doesn't feel right either. Maybe it'll come to me while I write this.
Friday at school was a bit of a mess. I had a lot on my plate today, and I remember constantly thinking during 1st period about when my day would be over in terms of school. I was supposed to take a quiz in Algebra, but Mr. Kuhns didn't show up, so we got a math problems crossword puzzle to fill out. It was alright, I'd done some of these before, my old Physics teacher used to give these to us for extra credit. The substitute had a stick up her butt or something though. Our anatomy projects were due in Psychology, but I got off the hook by not volunteering to go, and everyone taking so long.
Web Design was another Data Match filled day, we did alright again in terms of sales, of course, today was a bit slower, but we were faster since we knew what we were doing. Tabatha stole my spot selling to the Juniors with Amber though. Truthfully I didn't mind, I think they work better together, contrary to what they say, and plus I got to fart around and go try to persuade people to go get theirs.
We had an essay due in English, and I didn't finish that either. Plus, we had a Vocabulary test I didn't study for, so I just ditched the class and borrowed the new Stephen King novel from Tabatha she let me read over the weekend. I felt bad, I like groveled to her so I could borrow it, she probably got sick of me begging. It was nice to get some peace and quiet in the bathroom to read, weird as that sounds, and when it got time to leave I just went to Graphics and talked with the teacher until the bell rang. I managed to snag an order form for the Graphic Communications class to make me a custom shirt, so I've been thinking up ideas.
We still hadn't decided whether Josh was spending the night, so I just decided he was coming over, and he would stay over long enough that my parents would get the picture. We played with Sophia until my brother came over, because it was my dad's birthday. He got a little mad at me, because I used the last of his hair gel, but he seemed like he was in a good mood. I felt like s**t though, because I hadn't managed to get him a birthday card, and I never did end up getting him one, he probably noticed, but he's not the type to say anything like that, it's going to eat at him though. I'm a b*****d for not going for one. By that time it was around 3:30, and Sonja got off work at 3, so I called her to see if we were still on for hanging out today. We got all our plans together, but I was mad at Josh, because he got her in such a rush she walked out the door right when she hung up, and when I tried to call her back Marissa said she was already gone.
When dad left for work, Kelly updated John on suprising my dad for work, so they left to go buy some balloons and stuff. We watched Sophia again, but she was napping so it was no big deal. They took forever though, and around 5, me and Josh started to panic about Sonja waiting at 7-11 forever, hoping she wouldn't be waiting forever. They got home, and we took off to go find her. She was alright, but she said someone had tried to pick her up like she was a prostitute. If I find the guy I'll bash his head into his dashboard.
We walked home, and decided to order the pizza, since Sonja and Josh were starving. Sonja said later she felt bad because I got mad at the people, but I had to see it through, Sonja said the pizza was good, and I was not going to let these dumb pizza guys ruin our plans. I was looking forward to having it with them. What happened was, it took this lady like 5 minutes to get all my information down, and then she ended up telling me I called the wrong place, that this other one was closer. So I called them, and they said, "No, the first place was the right one, not us." So I called the first place back, explained the situation, and had to go through giving all the information again. We got it though, and while we waited, we watched Saw 2.
It was kind of hard to focus having to watch Sophia, she kept trying to get Josh's and Sonja's attention, but we managed somehow. The movie was very good, I'd definetly recommend it, I'm a big fan of the series, but I'm not spoiling anything here, just go watch it. Although I did see why Sonja would cringe at some parts. At first we were worried Sonja would never get home on time, but she called her mom and found out Marissa would give her a ride, so she got to stay longer, so that was nice.
When Marissa finally did pick her up, she was kind of in a rush, and didn't seem happy to see us, which I guess makes sense, since it was two guys and a girl by themselves with no parents, well Sophia was there, so I guess that made up for it cause she made Marissa smile, since she squealed when she saw her come in. She was strictly business though, and whisked off Sonja.
After that, it was kind of, "trying to get Sophia to finally go to sleep". My brother finally managed to do it, and we went on the computer until Kelly came home. The suprise was a huge success, and she even won the $50 from the karaoke contest. She thanked me for taking care of Sophia, so I felt good she finally got some leeway because she seemed really happy and appreciated that I'd done that for her. She was also happy to hear Marissa drove Sonja home, she's usually that way when it comes to getting her home afe, and she said Sonja had the right idea with the pizza, she had a couple slices when she sat down to rest. Then she took Sophia upstairs to bed, and John went to bed too.
Me and Josh hung out again, you know the drill, computer, games, until my dad came home, then Josh kind of dozed off, and I surfed on the net and wrote until about 4, then I turned in as well.
I think I'll do Saturday and Sunday on a new entry. heart
