I hate it when I don't get things done, or at least feel like I accomplished something important. Saturday was really nothing special, I woke up around 9 in the morning, to Josh playing games, I sat down and joined him again. My parents left, and we went downstairs and had some breakfast while we waited for the Gaia Anniversary Event to start. We kind of worked on it, but mostly we watched T.V. We went back upstairs to play Mario Party, then we basically hung out until my parents get home. I did some chores, and then Josh got picked up from his mom's house.
I think I fell asleep afterwards, yeah, I did, I tried reading ParaKiss Volume 3, but I didn't get halfway through with it before I couldn't hold it in front of my face anymore. My dad woke me up to tell me to put in the trash and recycle bins, and I watched Sophia until Kelly came back home with Panda Express. I ate quickly, because I didn't feel like being very social, I think it was because I woke up in a bad mood, I'd had a dream for a change and couldn't remember it. They wanted to watch Saw 2, but since I'd already seen it, I figured I'd go on Gaia, and see who was on.
I did the entry I owed from yesterday, tried to participate in the Anniversary Ball again, but no luck. I got to talk to Sonja though, we had a really nice discussion, it was nice to catch up. I'd hoped she'd had a good time. I went to sleep kind of after Fullmetal Alchemist was over, argued with Russ, and went back to bed.
Sunday was a lazy morning, since it looked like it had rained. To make up for the lack of sleep from earlier, I ended up not getting up until 11. I thought people weren't home, so I could relax, but Kelly and Sophia were downstairs. Dad must have been at the park, so I took my time going down. I took a shower, and kept reading Sonja's excess of manga she let me borrow. I got sick of being in the house real fast, so I asked my dad if I could go to Border's. My room wasn't clean, so he said I wasn't going until it was, so I kind of went stubborn, and just decided fine, I wasn't going then.
But then I swallowed my pride and tidied up a little, but not much. Sophia came into my room in the middle of cleaning, Kelly said she had gotten all the way up her on her own. So that was nice, I was proud and worried for obvious reasons. I sort of snuck out to the store later, when they were both asleep, so I didn't get checked on my room.
Getting to go to the bookstore was a nice relief from being stuck in the house all day. I enjoyed the walk and the fresh air, and the bus ride was really nice, I was looking at people on the bus and giving them backstories, it was pretty funny, I got stares because I was laughing to myself and getting stares from people. This guy almost got hit by a bus though, so that kind of brought me back down to Earth.
God I love just being able to relax and read in the peace and quiet, full of people working in college and doing projects, sipping coffee and eating chocolate. I looked around, hoping for a Help Wanted sign, but no luck. I wanted to suprise Sonja and get Hot Gimmick #3 for her, because she was right, it was really good, but they only had one copy and it was in horrible condition. So I scratched that idea, and bought this Web Design magazine from the U.K., and the Electronic Gaming Monthly issue I was looking for, because the cover story is for Kingdom Hearts 2. They have like 4 collector's edition covers, and I got the basic looking one, the others were Tron, Halloween Town, and Steamboat Willie versions of Sora, Donald, and Goofy. I stopped at Starbucks for an iced tea, then caught the bus home.
I didn't really say anything to my parents when I got home, they were just playing Scrabble, and Sophia was playing around in the kitchen. I noticed they took her playpen, and shoved it in front of the stairs. So I had to struggle to get up there, but I made it and relaxed for a while to read my magazines. They had a bunch of cool information regarding the game, and even some screenshots of the English version. The horrible thing was, they announced they were like 80% sure that the Pirates of the Caribbean characters weren't going to have their actor voices, because of scheduling conflicts, so there go all the Depp and Bloom fans down the drain.
I called Sonja, and we caught up and watched Family Guy and American Dad. I told her I wanted to go on the computer, since by then everyone downstairs had tredded up to bed, so I went back onto Gaia to enjoy the end of the Anniversary Ball and talk to whoever was on. Not much though, but I did have a really nice conversation with Sonja. It seems like I can always have something to say with her, our phone convo's are never boring. I appreciate that, it makes my day go a lot easier.
