R.I.P. Daisy...
Today was the last day of school. A fun time for all and the start of our high school careers. When we got home, I did the usual thing and got on the computer and just went around and posted in the forums. I then went outside for a bit and noticed my dad there too. We had a very engaging conversation about life, my strengths and weaknesses, and what lies ahead for me. After a while, my mom came outside and called my dad inside. I was curious as to what had happened and tried to follow them, but they told me to wait outside. So, of course, I did. I soon got bored and began walking around my pool and feeling the warm water with my hands. Hearing my name, I looked up to see my parents. They called me over and I obeyed. As I ran up to them, I noticed their faces were grave and immediately knew someone or something had died or was dying. It was a gut feeling I had... I sat down and then they told me my guinea pig was dying. I knew she was old and her time would come soon, but, no matter what the circumstances were, no one is prepared for a death. I cried for a little bit and my parents comforted me. They told me how she died...and I didn't want to go in there since there was blood and stuff. My dad cleaned it out, so I finally came back to my room after a while. I'm still slightly depressed about her death, but I'll be fine....
