Happy birthday Charlie! You is now 69!
I know the year (or past 2 years) have been marred in freakin rumors of you leaving the Stones. I know that is never true, but it's always a bit scary because that means not good news. I hope you're in good heath too because, unlike Keith, you actually have a good restraint. Now, I know that you can leave the Stones anytime, but I don't want you too. I am so selfish dude.
But anyways, it's still pretty cool that you've never attempted a drum solo and you mainly stick to jazz, which is cool. You still do your thing when other drummers just copy. I liked how you didn't feel the need to be one of those overtly flamboyant drummers who believe they need to solo and act all crazy. I like your laid back style and how you produce your own grove to yourself. You've got some complex drumming styles on many Stones songs.
I especially liked the style on "Monkey Man" and you have great uses for cymbals.
Now, mini Charlie spam:
Oh hey Mick! I see you feeling up hugging a certain birthday boy.
