I am now, officially, working for a place called the California Pizza Kitchen. I'm afraid I'm not too terribly thrilled about the first word in that title, but I've never been terribly fond of California, myself. Arnold can have it.
So, yes! I'm employed now! Finally! I can support my love in the style to which she would like to become accustomed! ^_^ According to my love and I's calculations, I'll be making roughly $1,440 a month minimum! Not including the $400/mo her dad sends, so that's $1,840 a month minimun! minumun, I tell you!
Also, another thing that I'm overly smegging happy about, I get to bring home a new dish every night for my love to sample, and desert, as well! I can bring home almost anything I want to bring home, and she can have a semi-gormet meal every night she's in the mood for it ^_^ Last night I brought home a Faccacio grilled rosemary chicken sandwhich (a tad spicy) and a nice, quaint little piece of (somehow white) key lime pie. Comlpete with lime.
So, wahoo! I can keep our apartment! It's official, we're living in Boston! ^_^
There's more news. It's 1/2 good, 1/2 bad. There's a gaming store, EBGames about 50 feet from where I work. It's got pretty high prices on the brandy-new games, but the used games (which often include brandy new games that just got bought and returned) are really reasonably priced! I mean... Okay, for those of you who've ever played or heard of Deus Ex (or Day of sex, as everyone seems to think it's called), I got the sequal to it, "Invisible war", for $5.00. $5.00 is a good price for almost any game, and especially for one of that caleeber. It used to be something like $40 when it came out not too terribly long ago. Not overly long ago, anyway.
I also got a $0.99 game called Echelon, or something... for $0.99, who can argue? I can forsee myself going back there alot and browsing their tulips in search of the odd rose, every so often.
On a more Gaian note, I'm currently trying to get 3 of each boldur helm, 3 of each tuna helm, and 3 of each striper helm. I'm pretty close with everything but the striper... okay, well 1/3 of the way done with the tuna's, too.
That's about it for now. I'm happy to be employed, and I'm having lots and lots of fun with my love ^_^
