To the man who teaches History
So yes
This is the last day of school
Its the last day of my junior year. And once again its leaving me with a lot of things to think about.
The future
Yes its a very scary thing for me to think about. But it also is a happy thing to think about. How is this you ask .... I have no idea, I guess it just depends on what mood Im in and how I look at it
Yesterday I was faced with a very difficuld dicision. I was choosing my classes for senior year and I had to make the choose of either picking classes with all of my friends and having a fun easy year or picking difficult classes that hopefully the collage I want t go to will look at.
This question was driving me insane but I finally got the answer from a very wise man.
As you already know today was the last day of school and in history the teacher was having a discussion on how the year went. And soon enough he was on the topic of next years classes.
He said something that I will never forget in my life. It wasn't the first time he has said it to me. But it was the first time I thought about it and listened.
He said
“Don't be afraid to be bold.”
He went on explaining how all of un should do the best we can whenever we can. To challenge ourselves. And to do this all because no matter how much we think it wont help ....we will not regret it.
This man is and will be one of the greatest people that I have ever met and will remember.
His speech helped me diced my next years classes which Im shure you will read about in future entrys
