hm...
How often do I count the nights just waiting for my piece of justice? Here I lay in a empty cell praying for my taste of freedom again andl today my dream will come true. He had no name but I decided a name for him, since he didn't really care what I called him, so I decided to call him Chris. He was brought here on a few charges that to this day I still don't know if the stories are true or not. But that doesn't matter now, all that matters is returning to the outside world and I knew when when he came into the cell that day he was thinking the same thing. The look in his eyes screamed a wild man and the scars on his wrists and legs revealed a life story in the most intricate way. I knew from this day on that this was the man who was going to help get me out of this hell hole, but to gain his trust was the only problem. I saw that he was a lot like me, heavily tied in chains to prevent people like us from going nuts. I had the whole ordeal planned and all I needed was the extra muscle to help me take out the extra guards. One day at lunch I was able to have a bit of walking time, so did he. I walked to him and started to make the first move, I didn't know if that was the right choice but all I knew was that if I can get him to help me, then maybe freedom can be at my reach. As took my seat I just looked at the clouds glad to finally getting some sun after a long while sitting in that room for so long.

I sat outside for a little while when he started to finally take notice of me. He acted as if he didn't even glanced at me and I let him have his moment, after all I need to go is get him in on my side. The guards brought the trays of stale bread and soggy potatoes for our lunch, I didn't dare touch the food since it would remind me of the good old days when I used to eat fine luxury food from the outside world. I finally looked at the man but I didn't dare look at his eyes, not just yet.
"So....enjoying yourself?" I asked him in a low voice, since we were not allowed to speak, but either way he didn't answer my question and it didn't matter. It reminded me of the first time I was sent to this place and didn't speak to anyone since I coulndn't trust them, and who could I'm surrounded by thieves and murderes after all. But he did take a small notice of me and that was alright, it meant that I do have some attention to him. I had better hoped, since seeing that he is a man and I am, well a very interesting person. I dumped the tray of disgusting food into the dump and walked back to my cell since the idea of being outside but not being free disgusted me. I let him eat his lunch since I needed him to be strong for the plan to work. 'This better work....of course it will...' I thought to myself since I was a bit bored and I needed to think of something, anything....

I know I haven't been here long but even after spending at a day at this place I understood how horrible it was going to be. Seeing that I was a lot different than the others, I knew I had the more advance intelligence here than every other man in here, and they just had to accept the fact that there is someone new in town that is ready to take any of them on if they dared to try and do anything to me, and so did the new guy, he understood that today when someone tried to have their way with me at lunch. Being that I am a high class criminal, this facility lacks the idea of keeping me separated from the others, that will cost them dearly. Seeing that I am the only one with sense of intelligence around here, do to my more awkward stature and grace, I have figured out every routine that goes on around here.

Its been a rough couple of days since "Chris" has been here and so far I haven't been able to get him to speak or even get another look from him since he first arrived. So when one day as the guard passed by my cell and left I tossed a piece of paper at the cell across from me. "Hey!"said in a high whisper, "Awake in there?" I called. The man turned his head to me and nodded

'What do you want?' asked his eyes glaring into mine, which gave me chills up my spine.

"I know you probably want to get out as badly as I do, so I have a deal to propose to you." I said to him quickly before the guard returns back with his truncheon.

He continued to glare into my eyes which left a haunting note inside my head, "I know everything that goes on around here, and I know where to escape but I need the extra man power to get out. Do you think you can like to help?" I asked him when I suddenly heard the noise. "Think about it..." I said to him as I ran to the back of my cell and the large foot steps of the guard came to the front of my cell and opened the lock and walked to the back of my cell.

The next day I could barely move, the bruises were all over my body from the guard trying to attack me and me resisting even after he tried to knock me out. I crawled my aching body to the door of my cell and I saw him stare at the door of my cell.

"Why did you let him do that?" he asked not looking at me anymore, but his eyes in a forever cold stare. I couldn't answer for my jaw was where the biggest bruise was and I couldn't open my mouth but I knew I needed to give him an answer.

"Its not like I gave him permission to do that...I did tried to fight back...and besides no other guard would believe a criminal...'We lie for a living'." I said quoting the captain that ran the facility. But he didn't seem to care but it did seem to tick him off that a guard would come and abuse the inmates just resting in their cell.

"So what was the plan you had?" he asked me as he just sat still looking at the wall. I was in shock that he had decided to assist me in this venture since the consequence in doing this attempt was suicide. I explained everything through a note on a piece of toilet paper from my cell and I slipped the note to him. He simply nodded as he read the little thing, "Why can't we just bust out during lunch?" he asked me, as if he was serious.

"Because then we would be killed on sight." I told him trying not to yell or be too loud, but I did put a lot strain in my voice. So later after the day went out I waited in my cell just waiting for the perfect moment when the guard will come to my cell again, his usual routine. As I sat waiting I looked over across from me and 'Chris' seemed a bit agitated by something, of what I didn't figure it out when I then heard noises down the hall. I cringed at every step the guard made as he neared my cell. I nodded my head to Chris as I assumed the position for my weekly 'beating' hoping that the plan goes accordingly.
