Item Abilities

Red Dragon: This custom blade of Yasuo's can be used as a medium for his chakra flow. It's edge and structural stability can be enhanced to a degree, when used in certain abilities. Other than that, it is but a normal blade.

Water Gourd: Inside this gourd is water that Yasuo uses for his "Water Cannon Replica" technique, as well as his "Water Dragon Bullet" technique. It's normal water, but a component to his water techniques if no body of water is around. The gourd carries 18.7 liters worth of water, weighing in at about 40lbs or so.

Earth Techniques

Doton: Ganchuso (Earth Release: Rock Pillars Rising)
(Offensive/Defensive/Aesthetic, Short-Mid Range)
(Activated by Handseals: Tiger → Serpent → Ox)


This technique allows the user to raise several rock pillars from the ground or section of earth, in an attempt to skewer an oncoming or retreating target. It is also used to change the battlefield, and make for a more interesting site for spectators. The pillars can rise to be up to fifteen feet high, and three feet wide.

Cost: 1 bar per pillar

Doton: Doro Hōshi (Earth Release: Mud Indulgence)
(Offensive, Long-Range)

This technique lets the user summon a river/area of mud around them, . This technique can have water added to it to speed up the flow and increase its power.
Cost: 2 bars per use

Doton: ? (Earth Release: Mud Monstrousity)
(Offensive/Defensive, Medium-Range)
(Activated by handseals: Serpent → Dog → Bird)

Using mud and water from their surroundings, the user covers themself in the mucky mass. Then, using chakra manipulation, the user forms a monstrously sized exoskeleton that is under their control of movement and attack. The monster varies in size, and looks more like a gelatenous glob of human-like proportions. Highly susceptible to heat and heavy magicks, with a threat that can cause the user to become encased in the mud when hardened.

Cost: 3 bars

Doton: Doryuheki (Earth Style Wall)

(Activated by Improvised Hand Seals: Tiger with left → Ox with right → adjust Ox above Tiger)


The user spits up a long line of mud that then quickly rises a few seconds after. The mud instantly solidifies into a hardened defense in front of the user, and can be as high as thriteen feet, and as wide as ten (Pending Users Spew Angle). By no means is it invincible, as a hard drilling impact can indefinitely smash through the creation.

Cost: 2 bars per use, 3 turn cool down.


Doton: Doryu Taiga (Earth Flow River)
(Offensive)
(Activated by Hand Seals: Tiger)


The user can channel their chakra into a small section of earth or stone, and change it into a pool of mud. This can be used to entrap an opponent for a limited amount of time, or be used as the first step of two in the "Earth Dragon Bullet" technique. Also, depending on if there is a slope, this technique becomes a high yield river of mud used to keep opponents at bay on the downhill side of things.

Cost: 2 bars per use



Doton: Doryuso (Rising Stone Spears)

The user can condense mud or stone into hardened spears that protrude out of the ground. The spears themselves, however, cannot penetrate through anything more dense than its element.

Water Techniques

Suiton: Mizurappa (Water Release: Violent Water Wave)
(Offensive)
(Activated with Hand Seals: Dragon → Tiger → Hare)


The user can concentrate their chakra within to create and shoot a heavy stream of water from their mouth. Depending on the amount of chakra the user puts into the technique, the pressure can very from a heavy flow of water (Such as the velocity of level 3 rapids), or a high pressure shot of it (Equal to that of a 500 PSI Water Hose). In some cases, it can even be concentrated to cut through earth and stone, at the expense of more chakra.

Cost: 2-4 bars per use (pending strength desired)


Suiton: Kirisame
(Supplementary/Defensive, Medium-Range)
(Activated by handseals: Serpent → Hare)


The user creates an orb of mist high up in the air, or around their person. It is of a decent size (10m diameter), and can be moved willfully by the creator. This can be used to shroud the users immediate area, or more importantly set it up for a technique called the "Black Rain Technique", listed below.

Suiton: Kokuu no Jutsu
(Offensive, All Ranges)
(Activated by Hand Clap)


Yasuo tosses a shuriken or kunai with a scroll attached to it. Inside the scroll is an oil infusement, which is released within the cloud and is absorbed into the water. With the clap of his hands, the black cloud begins to fall over its allocated area, covering it in oil. This can be damaging/hindering to the eyes, slippery when stepped upon - and deadly when set on fire.

Though this technique takes an excess amount of time to use - either two posts for a small dragon (18 Hand Seals) or three posts for a full sized dragon (worth 44 hand seals) - The user is able to summon a dragon formed out of a small or large body of water. This dragon carries the force of the water it is created from, and upon command will slam into the target with a tremendous impact, and spread its large amount of water across the ground. Though not life threatening (unless in a watery environment), the impact carries up to 1000 PSI (500 for the smaller), at up to 35 miles per hour.

Cost: 3.5 bars for small, 7 bars for large


Suiton: Suitenhōfutsu (Water Sky Convergance))
(Offensive/Defensive Supplementary)
(Activated by Hand Seals: Tiger → Dog → Monkey → Snake → Boar → Tiger)

This technique allows the user to control a fair amount of water in his area, possibly from a gourd or nearby water source. The water can then be manipulated to create many physical attacks, as well as defensive measures in order to keep an enemy at bay. This technique, however, requires that the user either stay stationary, or keep at a paced walk so that concentration is not broken. This ability also applies directly to the Earth Release: Mud Indulgence technique.

Cost: 1 bar per turns use

Ki Nobori no Shugyō (Tree Climbing Practice)

Falling back on the basic principles of the shinobi way, Yasuo allocates a fixed amount of chakra to his feet that allows him to "grip" surfaces that would normally be impossible to stand upon (IE Walk on solid walls, ceilings, branches, etc).

Suimen Hokō no Gyō (Water Surface Walking Practice)

(Passive Ability, 1/2 bar drain per turn)

Like his Tree Climbing Practive ability, Yasuo allocates a fixed amount of chakra to his feet. This allows the shinobi, and any shinobi like him, to "walk on water".

Bunshin no jutsu (Clone Technique)
(Supplementary)
(Activated by Handseals: Ram → Snake → Tiger)


This technique creates intangible clones made from a minimal amount of the users chakra reserves. These clones are nothing more than illusions, incapable of causing any physical damage. When they come into contact with something not of the immediate environment, they dissipate into the air without a trace. This technique can be seen through with advanced eyes, and with decent observational skills, as the clones themselves do not disrupt the environment that they are in (I.E. Don't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.)

Cost: 1 half bar per clone, per turn (unless touched)


Partial Chakra Enhanced Strength
(Supplementary/Offensive Short Range)
(Turn On/Turn Off -Focus technique-)


The user, after months and even years of arduous training, has developed a precise chakra point control that allows them to focus certain amounts of chakra in physical strikes. Though it takes a toll on reserves with extended use, the users striking strength is amplified by the explosive kinetic force the technique allows, in some cases even allowing the deflection of large objects, such as boulders, vehicles and even full trees (with totally focused and dedicated usage). However, the strength only applies to punches, kicks, knee's and all forms of physical strikes, as the chakra cannot enhance the lifting power of the users body in any shape or form.

Cost: 1 bar every use/turn

Chakra Concentration
(Supplementary)
(Turn On/Turn Off -Focus Technique-)


Yasuo stands in one position, staying stationary as he concentrates his chakra within all eight gates of his body. The chakra quickly regenerates in his supply banks, bringing about 2 bars per turn for every turn he goes unhindered.

Taijutsu (Close Combat Techniques)

Great Meteor Fall : Yasuo would have to get his opponent up a decent height in the air in order to allow for the proper use of this technique. When the target is up in the air, he uses his enhanced chakra strength to kick himself into the air, and then rockets a heavy kick down into the target, gathering a small force of chakra into his foot so that when they impact against the ground, the chakra explodes against the target and causes extra damage.

Counter Palm Style: Flying Bird Attack: Yasuo can use this technique by intercepting a heavy punch, and using the momentum his target still has, he thrusts upwards into the targets abdomen in a flying knee-type of attack. In order to make the attack more devastating, Yasuo focuses a small group of chakra into his knee, to create a bigger impact for the target when hit.

Chakra System

The system is used in half-bars and bars. Every turn that chakra is not used, half a bar is returned through natural energy regeneration. Using his "Chakra Concentration" technique, he regenerates 2 bars in place of a half-bar, exchanging mobility for power regen.

Skill Point Distribution

Mobility (2.5/5): Yasuo has packed light for this tournament, and has only light armor and his few equipment pieces weighing him down. His training with taijutsu as also allowed for him to be agile with such things, to a degree. The one thing that hinders him the most would be the gourd, which is only held by a strap across the chest. His newest chest piece adds to this detriment.

Strength (3.5/5): Though quick and agile, Yasuo's overall strength only meets the standard human limit. He can benchpress somewhere close to 250 pounds at maximum, squat 375 pounds, and leg press around 425 pounds. After a year of training, all abilities have been increased by a 25lb yield.

Chakra Control (4/5): Because Yasuo had fairly achieved the rank of Jounin in his village, he has create for himself a high yield of chakra. His yield can go on for long bouts at a time, though larger-scale techniques may cause symptoms of fatigue to develop more quickly than others.

Toughness (3.5/5): His Jounin training has taught him how to take quite a number of heavy hits. However, his body like all humans contains fragility that can only withstand so much. His endurance is what keeps him going.

Magical Prowess (4.5/5): For most of his life, Yasuo had trained in the art of ninjutsu (Like all ninja from the main villages). He knows each and every one of them in and out, and has developed each of his techniques both through training, and vital self-taught technique training segments created by himself.

Endurance (4/5): Constant training in terms of taking hits and dishing them out has always been a top priortiy for Yasuo, and though he knows his limitations, he still attempts to go above and beyond, someitmes pushing himself too far.

Resistance (2.5/5): As said above, Yasuo is still only human. Back at home in his village, trained Medical-nin were there to help the healing process speed, as well as keep disease and infection out of the question. Here, he truly is only human, and thus has every flaw one of them does. (At least until the round is over)
