Hello all! It's Madame Satine, and I finally got rid of all my journal entries. I started that back in '08 when my literary prowess was not so good. It would be very interesting to see my progress, but through those entries, i've also shed light on my once immature side of life. After realizing, much to my dismay, how whiny and bratty I can be, I did a makeover. I sometimes have anger issues, especially in SS, but I love to help any friend (trust me...my dad is an underpaid psychologist). So much has changed since I started this, I starred in some plays and musicals, tried sushi, and gave up on that novel I wanted to write. Don't fret though, I started a new and better one. "The Simple Ingenuity of Romance". Title might change, but already 20+ computer pages typed about the story of two 18th Century sisters dealing with a horrible past and looking for love and how to keep it. It's no Bronte sister work, or Du Maurier, but with my classic love story reading, maybe their magic can rub off on me. Right now, I plan on reading four novels by the end of summer: Jane Eyre, Vanity Fair, Daniel Deronda, and Anna Karenina. Wish me luck! I'm also going to deal with AP World History, and all honors courses, including extra AP science classes. I want to be an actress/novelist, but I know how difficult the path is to fame, so my back-up plan is to be a psychiatrist. Slightly similar to my dad, but better. Who wants to deal with med-school and other people's problems when we have our own? I know I won't. However, it is money. I am pro-gay marriage and pro-gay anything, and if you offend anyone with the intention of gay bashing, expect me to make your internet exsistence a living nightmare. I truly love my friends and try to thrive with them. I love watching musicals/plays, and reading romance novels. I love pop music, (terrible but addictive) rap, and alternative. I use to watch a lot of T.V. but shows got put into the same time slots, so now I watch the following: Glee, Pretty Little Liars, Huge, (both need some better acting, but it's ABC Family rolleyes ) Chuck, 30 Rock, The Office, Parks and Recreation, Community, Desperate Housewives, American Idol, and Fringe. I intend on making this journal an on-going process, but I already have a Live Journal, and like history proves: "past always repeats in the future". Let's hope I prove that wrong. I will not show any work from my novel except my Preface, which i'll show tomorrow. So i'm glad for anyone who has read this, and I hope to hear comments about tomorrow's showing. Thank you all for taking your time to read and I hope everyone has a wonderful night/morning/day.
