Hello everyone that read this, (I'm assuming there's maybe one person that does, but whatever) It's been a long while since I updated. So much has happened in that time. Well(touched on this last entry), two and some months ago Cary and I broke up broke up with me and now he is dating his best friend, Mae. I was kinda upset (a lot upset) by this when I found out.. But not for the "jealous ex girlfriend" reason. I won't go into detail about it because it's kinda really stupid, but basically I though he'd lied to me about it and I got really mad. It's all better now, though. In fact, I even have gotten over his skinny a** enough to consciously flirt with a guy I'm working with and not want to go curl up and sleep forever. That's a pretty big step for me. I think one reason why it isn't this hard to get over him this time is because we're still pretty good friends. I get upset about something and he's there in a heartbeat to give me advice or to casually inform me that he is "totally NAKED" in order to make me laugh (oh, and I did laugh). Half the time I don't even have to ask, he can just tell when something is wrong. It's things like that that make me wonder about our future. Me and Karra have that kind of bond, I think, and we're going to be best friends forever (I hope). It's just one of those things, I guess.
Today at work (camp thing), me and Brendan were talking to these two other girls at the museum exhibit (which is where we're both working) and, of course, the topic of conversation turned semi-sexual. Only because we all were just in that mind set, but still. Anyway. One of the girls look at us and (rather rudely) proclaimed that, she "Is a good Christian girl and these comments are ungodly and unneeded." Okay. Now let me get this straight, I have nothing wrong with religious people. But we weren't actually saying anything bad. Like, Brendan picked up this stuffed maggot thing and said, "Woah, this is pretty big," and he and I (silently) snickered. NOT A BAD COMMENT. We just both though of the same thing. her saying that only proved that she had her own mind in the gutter, and I was rather irritated by it. I can understand where she was coming from, but honestly. If you're going into 11th grade in high school, you really need to get over being prude. Because there are going to be A LOT of people there that say things a LOT worse than "this is pretty big,".
