1. Divide the list up by even and odd. Which group of five would make a better Five Man Band (like a Power Rangers team)? Who would you slot in each position: Leader, Lancer (second-in-command), Big Guy, Smart Guy, The Chick? If you think the team would be improved by swapping one character between the even and odd groups, which ones would you switch?
Team 1: Nadia, totoro, Joachim, Osaka, Heat
Team 2: Luna, Sealand, Willow, panda-kun, Zoe
Team 1 would probably be functional, but insane, whereas Team 2 would be awesome. Panda-kun makes a great menacing big guy, and Sealand is the esteemed leader. Poor heat, once again serving under a silent grey thing. As for positions:

Lancer: Zoe

I don't know who to swtitch... maybe Joachim or Totoro with Zoe, just to make team 2 more magical and awesome
2. Gender-swap 2 (Luna), 8 (panda-kun) & 10 (Zoe). Which character would have the most change in their story arc? Which the least? Would any of these characters have to have a complete personality change to be believable as the opposite sex?
Luna as a boy would be pretty much the same, though I prefer her character as a girl.
panda-kun the plushie wouldn't change much, but the fake anime he/she was based on would have to change... a moody cursed girl with a harem of pretty magical school boys??
hmm, I don't think Zoe would work as a boy, the story would have to be changed, since most of the shifters/dreamers in the game are female.
3. Compare the matchups of 1 (Nadia) & 8 (panda-kun) and 5 (Joachim) & 9 (Heat). (Ignore canon sexual preferences for the moment.) Which couple would be more compatible? Which couple would be more plausible to people from either principal's home culture?
Nadia/panda-kun doesn't work, and in either world would be looked at as strange. I don't think Heat/Joachim would work either, however. Heat wouldn't be attracted to Joachim, who is not cute and girly enough (like Sera) or quiet with a sense of respectful authority (like Serph).
Joachim is gay, but might be turned off by Heat's willingness to devour helpless victims. Plus I can't imagine either of them making the first move.
4. Your team is 3 (totoro), 4 (Sealand) & 9 (Heat). The mission consists of a social challenge, a mental challenge and a physical challenge. Which team member do you assign to each challenge?
Sealand for the social challenge. He’s cute and outgoing. Heat is strong, (and not the smartest) so he gets the physical challenge. Totoro is a forest god, with centuries of knowledge, so he is left with the mental challenge.
5. 7 (Osaka) becomes 1's (Nadia’s) boss for a week in some plausible fashion. How's their working relationship?
That probably wouldn't work at all, I can't imagine Osaka giving orders, and they'd be too weird for Nadia to follow.
6. 2 (Luna) finds him/her/itself inserted into 6's (Willow’s) continuity. As far as anyone other than 2 or 6 is concerned, they've always been there. What role would 2 be presumed to have had in 6's story, and could they fit in without going wonky?
I've always been interested in Harry Potter/Buffy the vampire crossovers sweatdrop Since they are both witches, it actually might work out. Maybe a few of the creatures Luna talks about are actually rare demons! I think some of the other characters might get annoyed with her, but she and Willow would probably be friends.
7. 3 (totoro) and 5 (Joachim) get three wishes. The catch is that they have to agree on all three wishes before they get the benefits of any of them. What three wishes would they make?
Totoro would wish that all the world's forests were healthy and full again, Joachim would wish to defeat all of the evil in the world, and to find a man as strong, beautiful, and heroic as him. xp
8. 1 (Nadia) and 2 (Luna) are brainwashed by a one-time artifact that works even on people immune to mind control to attack and kill 4 (Sealand). They keep their normal personality, skills and competence level, except any Code vs. Killing has been turned off. Can 4 survive? How?
hmm, I think Luna would be too distracted to work efficiently with Nadia, who would probably get frustrated with Luna's airy manner. The might be able to kill a normal target (Luna does have magic after all), but never an entire country. And Sealand is the greatest country of them all!
9. 6 (Willow), 7 (Osaka), 9 (Heat) & 10 (Zoe) must help an orphanage full of small and depressed children have a merry Christmas. Who does what, knowing that at the very least the kids will be expecting a visit from Santa?
Heat is volunteered to be santa, since his previous job did involve working with children, and he's much better behaved without Dr. Serph or Sera around (plus, it would be hilarious). Willow would use her magic to decorate the place, Osaka would serve food dressed in a demon snowman costume, and Zoe would play board games with the kids.
10. 3 (totoro) and 8 (panda-kun) are challenged to circumnavigate the Earth in eighty days or less, using only forms of transportation invented before 1900. Can they do it, or will they be fatally distracted by sidequests or their own personality conflicts?
circumnavigate the Earth in eighty days? pah, that's child's play for these two. They could do it in 2 days with Totoro's spinning top and panda-kun's horrific expressions.
