What is "parkour"

Oh god...
Life force draining away... Dx
I have to explain agaaaaaain Dx
You get the full explanation because I'm bored and actually feel like writing all of this down...
Parkour is basically what Twilight described it to be
But, I do have something to add
Parkour is free movement. It isn't based of of any of Bruce Lee's ideology, it's been around since a caveman could jump from one rock to another over a hole in the ground
It was modernized in France and taught to French soldiers (In a way. Certain movements were, certain movements weren't)
Which brings us to Davide Belle, the founder of modern Parkour, former French soldier, stunt man, and actor.
He, and Sebastien Foucan (Who was the man doing parkour at the beginning of Casino Royale. You know, the one Daniel Craig chased for like ten minutes) modernized parkour and freerunning respectively. They also happen to be childhood friends.
Parkour, combining the definitions of parkour and freerunning, is the martial art (It is a discipline, so it's a martial art) of getting from point A to point B in the fastest, most efficient way possible.

If you're lazy, here's the youtube of the Parkour team I was apart of for two years before leaving Temecula. No, I am not in any of the videos. The teams best three (Jimmy, Jacob, and Kenny) are in all of the videos.

And, if you want to learn the physics (And be totally confused by Jimmy) here's a video all about the physics of parkour. (Jimmy got an A on it for physics class, by the way xD)

if ya don't mind, i'm saving this bit of info. =w=
