The music plays, the people dance, and the household servants walk about, helping guests in every way imaginable. The guests of the celebration are elated, the ball to be one of the most extravagant of the decade, possibly the century. After all, the Nightheart family easily boasts throwing the best parties. Members of high society are gathered. Laughter fills the room. The succulent smells from a buffet table flood through the room. From the grand staircase descends the hostess, a young woman in her early twenties, possibly older. No one has ever been quite sure. A smile is upon her face as she joins the crowd, many pleased to see the young woman. Little had any of the guests noticed the dark clouds that began to slowly gather around the mansion and the surrounding area. Still, the revelry continues, none quite aware of what may be in store.

The Gravity of the Situation
A storm is brewing above the lively Nightheart Manor. The party, meant to last all night, is supposed to be the most extravagant celebration of the time. It is a celebration of young Miss Analise Nightheart's ascension to the head of the family. However, the guest were not informed of the developing weather conditions. But, little do the guests know, young miss Nightheart has strategically planned the party on this exact night. The only question is... Why? Are the rumors of the young miss true? But which ones? Is she secretly working with the Yard to uncover the criminals of a recent string of crimes? Or, is she the source of unrest amongst the city? And what is with the young man who trails behind her so dutifully? But, honestly... What is to happen in the manor, with so many guests soon to be trapped on the all too strategic property. The only potential way to uncover the mystery of what is going on is to ask the servants. But they all seem so composed. All except a few who seem on edge. And young miss Nightheart seems to see all, securing the secrets and the night. The night that proves to be full of secrets, even more to come it seems.
