"Mommy please come back to me!" It’s the same dream every night. I’m still young. A broken child stands calling for the beautiful women. That broken child is me, Sophia Volder. When this dream occurs I’m only five in it. Still a new born to many of the race I’m a part of.
“Please come back!”
By this time the snow is falling heavy, drowning out my mother’s lean figure. My mother’s long blonde hair drenched with snow which never managed to reach the ground. It was amazing how a mother could leave her young child without so much as a second thought. In a matter of minutes the beautiful women was gone and I was left standing alone. The only thing I had left of her was the turquoise ring and snowflake necklace that my father gave to me on my fifteenth birthday.
I never knew my mother. She left before I could even talk. My father always told me that she was better off away from our home. She wasn't one of us and he loved her to much to change her. What a bunch of crap that was. I came to the human world to find her and I wasn't going to stop till i did. That much was obvious.
