Rose: Exit Stage Left

Rose was shaking her head at LISA's super-hyper excitement amidst her own non-caffeinated headachy state when Kaku returned. It helped that he massaged her temples, but she got this weird feeling like someone was sending hate-glares her way. She didn't bother opening her eyes to verify that. Not now.

But she did open her eyes to look at Zuchax III when he said nothing was impossible while he had Se'rox. Rose still had so many questions for her own Nobody, that it was odd to find that she had gotten engaged. She still didn't even know what element that Se'rox controlled. All she knew was that Se'rox was blind but never needed help walking, that Se'rox had saved her life once, and that she had known her mother.

She let it go, though, when Kaku mentioned them needing to leave.

"Why isn't it safe here?" Rose said, as she got up quickly and turned to follow Kaku. Due to her headache, it was a moment or two before she caught on to that other thing he had said. "And they aren't pets just because they're fluffy. They actually are trained fighters, part of my, er, Royal Guard."

Still, the kitsunes followed her, and she thought how uncannily they could be compared to pets- following her around as they did. She shook that thought away. Part animal they might be, but so was she.

She accentuated the point by morphing into her full kitsune form, complete with a weapon, since Kaku said it wouldn't be safe. "So, how do we get home, then?"

Se'rox: No Fear

Se'rox watched the interesting interaction between Kaku and Zuchax III, and Kaku and Rose. Rose was so strange. She felt, to Se'rox reverb-sight, to be an exact replica of herself, but with a different hairstyle at least. But she seemed so... immature. Whining about coffee, pouting even, and yet excited and happy to give out information the next. And she was a Queen now- Se'rox had been given the information. Queen of the Southern Gaian Kitsunes. Were there even any Northern Gaian Kitsunes? And those kitsunes... Se'rox was intruiged by the way their hairs bristled when they were perterbed.

Kaku started to leave to escort Rose home. Se'rox wanted to thank Rose personally for saving Zuchax III... but Rose turned to follow him quickly, and the kitsunes were on her heels. She decided she would have to... get her a gift? Would that be what Lilah would recommend? She shook off her thoughts, and watched as Kaku threw Zuchax III a key.

"He's giving us a ship?" Se'rox asked. It seemed too strange. Why would they need a ship when they had portals? But his comment about children made her stop dead in her tracks. She wasn't even following Zuchax III anymore. That was something else altogether to consider. She realized Zuchax III had opened a door, and went to follow him. As Raina clung to Se'rox, she wondered why. This place wasn't haunted. Ghosts were illogical apparitions.

As Raina lost control of her fear and hid in Se'rox's shirt, and Zuchax III commented about it, Se'rox almost tripped. When he changed the subject to flying, Se'rox was glad for the change in conversation.

"I do not care for space travel personally. It feels like falling endlessly- or until we land. But it serves a purpose. I have no problems going, as long as I go with you."
