Least Favorite Music: Opera.. honestly, so loud and just.. it's really not what a quiet boy would like.

Least Favorite Gem: None, all rocks have a story to tell.
Favorite Color: Orange - not overly bright orange, but more like sunset orange.
Least Favorite Color: Anything too bright.
Favorite Activity: Croquet, because you have to be very precise. Archery is okay too.
Least Favorite Activity: Hunting, fighting.. he could be doing something much more productive than hunting, and fighting is pointless. It wastes resources and lives, besides, it's the result of men who are either to proud or to stupid to talk it out. Revenge, he finds, is petty too.. mind you, he's never felt what it is like to want revenge.

Least Favorite Holiday: Lent - he and his sister both hate this holiday.
Favorite Subject: Literature & languages.. in general, he loves learning.
Least Favorite Subject: None
Blood Type: A
Dreams: To someday find out about God.
Fears: A revolution. It would mean terrible things for his family especially since they're part of the aristocracy. Than, his other fear would be losing his sister since she's the only person who honestly listens to him even if she doesn't totally understand.
Medical Conditions: None
Love Interest: Books - he is never without a book somewhere nearby. He lusts for knowledge, and sees little to no interest in women or girls as wives.
Personality: Marc is a kind-hearted boy, but he isn't necessarily friendly. He isn't the type of guy who'd seek someone out just to hang out with them, but Marc more or less keeps to himself. Something about him often rejects people almost like an outer shell, and he finds it difficult to care for people.
He questions love. Should he love his parents because they are his parents? He doesn't necessarily love them as strongly as most people do, in fact, he isn't sure he loves them at all. His parents favoured his older brother and sister most, so Marc has always considered himself 'the extra'. His sister, Hélene, is the one person he's certain he loves. All though she is vain and rather stubborn, Marc has a love for her that is unmatched. Antoine, his older brother, was also close to her, and he was jealous when she went off galavanting through the woods with him. Than, he often felt more alone than ever and developed a colder side towards people he didn't know, yet whenever Hélene returned she would tell him stories and listen to him. She seemed to care. People who show a genuine interest in him generally have a better chance getting through his shell. He generally protects himself and remains guarded. Marc is very cautious.
He's very intelligent and thoughtful for a boy his age. He understands a lot about politics and the world. One thing that evades him is god: is he or his he not real? Is it a method of control by the church?
He is quiet a good liar, and looks out for his sister, however, Marc's main issues are pride, over calculation, and length. He's proud because he knows he's smart which lead to over-estimating himself and other times he simply over thinks or can't make a solution quickly.
// B I O G R A P H Y .
He grew up along with his younger sister and an older brother. Antoine was a nuisance to him, and the exact opposite: he loved to hunt and run and spend time in the outdoors. A piece of Marc admired Antoine, but the other part resented him for taking up his sister's time instead of him, yet he would never show any sign of this or mention it to Hélene. The love he had for his sister was stronger than anything. The truth was, however, that it was hard to see - Marc was peculiar. There were rare times he would show affection, including by embracing his sister. Another person who affected his life was Charlotte Dupont, the former governess. He only grew closer to her later, and she only just began worming her way into his heart, yet the damage was done. When she died, it hurt him nearly as much as it hurt Hélene. He was reminded why he didn't let people close to him. It hurt to lose them. However, when Antoine was lost, Marc was pleased. It meant more time with his beloved sister.
In public, it's still rather hard to tell how much affection he has for her, all though if you watch him carefully, one might catch a rare tender smile or a gentle embrace, or see him tapping his foot along to the music. Marc was always a person who preferred to stay out of the limelight, so he often ended up at the corner in a party or not even there.
Now - they're finally getting a replacement for Charlotte. Marc wonders what she likes, but he doubts she'll be quite as.. influential as her.
