Rain and Snow

Rain, is the tears of heaven,
Streaking down through gray clouds.
Snow is the drifting silence of wings,
Slowing down our vigorous thoughts.
Rain beats rhythmically to neutralize our emotion,
Soft but drowning.
Snow sweeps silence upon our trembling lips,
Quiet, but not wordless.
Rain is a vast colorless whisper, a wakeful reminder.
Snow is the deafening serenity of our aspiration.
Rain, the tears of a forgotten angel.
Snow, the falling of broken wings
