I have never read the Walking Dead graphic novel. I'm now sorry I hadn't, as the show is really appealing. The graphic novel must be drawn beautifully, judging from the excellent shot composition in the show. I get that the guy is traumatized and meant to be an audience stand in, but he's rather blank and boring. I'm also rather grumpy about the horse as if I could intuit it, so could he. Sigh.
