Last night around 6 PM a gas main exploded in San Bruno. The plume of fire could be seen for miles around and reached a height of over 300 feet.(It's all over the news.) An estimated 7 people were killed and over 50 were wounded. (Ironically, I don't care. So sue me, I'm a Thomas Hobbes type.)115 houses were damaged in the initial report and 52 were razed to the ground. The water main was damaged and fire fighters were unable to quell the flames, and they're still burning! Last night was Rosh Hashannah (Whatever.) and my parents went to my uncle's house for dinner. Some time around 6 my Aunt kept getting phone calls from the hospital (She's the nurse manager) and eventually had to answer it. She was called into work and had to get her scrubs on really quick and drive there to help the burn victims...
Oh. And last night there was a scriptor in towns last night on gaiaonline and I was suggesting scripts (I.E. Jack, Mother Ship, Pools) and they were actually LISTENING. biggrin Made my day, totally!
P.S. My cousin Elena has this cute little White dog, who I am told weighs less than 10 pounds. My Mother joked, "Our cat weighs 50% more than your dog." XD
