A Touch of History
This will mostly contain history stuff.
* We are having sporadic power and/or internet outages. If I'm chatting with you and just disappear, that's likely why.

* Is that a... gold rib cage outside the dress? http://gofugyourself.celebuzz.com/assets_c/2010/11/107059482-thumb-420x613.jpg

Is it wrong of me to thin I'd love to see this done as a cake wreck?

* box in box manages to be way more coherent about the brilliant Venture Bros finale than I was: http://box-in-the-box.livejournal.com/455307.html?style=mine#cutid1

* Clearly I need a second space heater. Stupid climate change. Let's hope the snow melts by Wednesday as I need to get pie for my Thanksgiving thing. As I lay reading today, I could hear one of the neighbors spinning their tires in a failed attempt to escape the parking lot.

* Why is it all I want to eat is pizza? I have no money for pizza. Pizza is bad for me. The specific pizza I want is across the snowbanks anyway.

* This can't be good: "It's really happening: Warner Brothers reboots Buffy The Vampire Slayer without Joss Whedon": http://io9.com/5696522/its-really-happening-warner-brothers-reboots-buffy-the-vampire-slayer-without-joss-whedon

* I am having trouble believing Hector's howls of starvation when they occur less than five minutes after the last time I pet him while he ate.

* The bravery involved always impresses me. http://www.advocate.com/Print_Issue/Advance/Red_Dawn/

* Am I the only one on t5he planet who responded to Little/Big with a resounding, meh?

* "Michelangelo's David Holding Secret Weapon? http://news.discovery.com/history/michelangelo-david-secret-weapon.html

* "Chinese Noodle Dinner Buried for 2,500 Years:" http://news.discovery.com/archaeology/ancient-chinese-dinner-archaeology.html

* "1832 - The deadly epidemic that helped shape today's Paris" http://www.english.rfi.fr/visiting-france/20101118-1832-epidemic-helped-shape-todays-paris

I know Cholera gave London it's excellent sewer system, and Bubonic Plague gave San Fransisco it's first public health planning which led to the US system. It's interesting to see how it played out in Paris.

* "First Americans 'reached Europe five centuries before Columbus discoveries'" http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2010/nov/16/first-americans-europe-research

* The last turkey in the shop: http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/2010/11/its-about-standards.html

* Grown woman in public on purpose: http://gofugyourself.celebuzz.com/assets_c/2010/11/107053770-thumb-420x654.jpg
