Username: Marli-oneechan Name: Aylward Fabian Burguess Age: Seventeen Gender: Male Race: His mother was a Humanoid Alien from another planet far away. Sexual Preference: Seriously undecided. He's serious about it. Personality: Aylward is a strange sort. WAIT. Call him Ay. He hates his name. Calm, yet not calm, relaxed, but tense, he just goes with the flow most of the time. At times he can be flustered and have very human, hormonal reactions to things, he doesn't normally react as most would. His calm, calculating attitude pairs with a bit of teenage playfulness to make him a punk. And he likes sweet things. Like sex. And candy. And music. Bio: Aylward F. Burguess(pronounced eye-el-word fay-be-an burguess) was born on the south side of the largest city on the planet, in the home of a beautiful and exotic prostitute that was just trying to get by, his mother. Soon after giving birth to him(about three years), she caught a stigma disease and fell ill, soon dead. Ay was taken in sequencially by one of her customers that had been trying to help her out of her business. The man lived on the East side, basically a middle-class region of the City, where he owned a machine shop. He was a gruff, but loving sort of man that taught Ay how to work machines to occupy his mind. The man knew what sort of brainpower lied in the males of Aylward's mother's race, and quickly put him to learning, not wanting him to bet bored and run off. The child, after all, could already speak three languages. First Ay was taught simple math, writing, in the middle learning things about machines by watching and then a couple of years later, helping along when none of the cutsomers were in sight to see him. They would have not let the gruff man do his job, seeing Aylward's mixed, pretty looks that spoke of ill heritage.
After the first few years of being mistreated in the school he was sent to at age seven, skipping kindergarten, Ay learned to hide his ears, once his hair grew out far enough, and wore a headband or cap when he went out, along with gloves to cover the backs of his hands.
Never mind the fact that extraterrestrials were common enough as it was. But somehow being a hybrid was a worse crime in this city than stealing.
Around when he trned sixteen, Ay was already graduated from college and doing work in the garage. The old man was getting older, and couldn't do much around the place with heavy tools. He had hired a few workers by then, but Aylward was in charge of the shop. And that was when the gangs started to fill the area, on their hovering motorcyles and in their stolen mech armor. They had overflowed from the South side of the city. Ay had to close up earlier at night.
On night, however, he had lost track of time, and by the time he realized it was dark and well past time to shut the three-foot-thick doors and set the security, the laughs and lights were already filling the air.
"s**t," he remembers saying to himself, and he ran to the door, trying to shove it shut and get the lights in the garage off. He did, but not before a voice could be heard saying something alonge the lines of, "Oh? It's that whore's son closing up shop." Cackles jumped off the walls as he ran to clip the security lock closed and push the buttons.
His finger was millimeters from the final digit when a bang came at the side door of the garage. He jumped, and almost missed the keypad. His finger stuck on the scanner, and then suddenly everything began shutting down as planned. Bars fell down over the windows, the metal plating closed on the glass, everything went right.
He stayed until he heard the bikes outside whirring away, and then went inside.
A crash made him jump. It must have been a mistake! He whipped around to the direction of the crash. A voice sounded right next to his ear, hot breath on his neck that made shivers of dread go up his spine. "Please, do come outside for a chat." A chuckle. He heard similar ones out in the darkness.
His body tensed. He did what he was asked. He could hear a creak on the floor of the old house. His caretaker. "Don't hurt the old man."
"We won't hurt him." The voice said, suddenly quieter, more deadly.
Why was this happening? He was shoved out the door that sat ajar with one knob broken clean off by what he guessed was a mech hand.
He looked around, saw a glint of chains. Restraints. He began to struggle again the grasp that held him steady, the cloth that was now pressed against his nose and over his mouth. "But you'll sell for a pretty peny, you son of a whore."
The chemical made everything go black, and when he woke, he was in the capsule. He vomited into a toilet that was suddenly there with an automated voice that said indecipherable things. A few more heaves, and he looked around, automatically knew where he was. A slave shop.
Other: Ay has an absolutely huge brain capacity and very smooth scales on the nape of his neck, backs of hands, lower back, and a bit on the hairline on his face and forehead. Also due to his mixed race, he has pointed ears that curl frontwards on the tips but are still soft, an extreme widow's peak, and retractable teeth that emerge when he becomes entirely too angry, which almost never happens. He tries to cover his ears with the headbande he wears to also cover the scales on his visage. Colours & Charms: Heart, diamond, wrench, pink, silver, red. Master:None at the moment.
Pic will shrink.
