the man bent down and picked her up gently. he carried her into the front room where he father was kneeling on the floor next to his dead wife.
"your daughter is very pretty." he said as he moved the hair away from her face and neck.
"if you want her you can have her! just don't kill....." he shut up when the man looked at him. he turned he gaze back to Dark.
"What is your name?" he asked.
"Dark"
"oh that is a nice name. Do you know why your mommy had to die." she shook her head.
"your dady has been a very bad man. he killed two of my boys."
"that's bad." he laughed at Darks innocent comment.
"yes that's bad. Now he needs to be punished for being bad don't you agree?"
"well... when i do something bad i get in trouble. i guess he needs to be in trouble too." he was smiling and she could see his fangs.
he turned around and covered Darks eyes so she couldn't see what his siblings did to her father. she trembled in the mans arms as she heard him scream.
