"that's so gay."
ever get the urge to slap anyone who uses that phrase? even if i weren't a queer, i'd strongly dislike it anyhow. not only is it offensive, but it's a poor use of a good word. gay, as we all know, means two things.
gay=happy
gay=homosexual
to use it as an insult both makes absolutely no sense and shows a poor sense of creativity.
even if they were to use that phrase, they should use it as a positive term, right? just as i typed above, gay can also mean exuberant (just finding another word for happy); which means we could refer to something as 'gay' in a way of showing approval. anyhow, just wanted to post my first entry.
