So I was playing puzzles today, because it's been ages since I last did that and I like to choose a room that no one else is in, because I am old and decrepit and need to concentrate and the last thing you want is people all yapping around you. xd
So there I was trying to find a puzzle I hadn't done before when someone popped into the room and sat down.
He said 'hi' and being a polite person I said 'hi' back.
He asked me how I was and I replied 'good and yourself?'
He said he was good, then he asked me how old I was.
That's when the alarm bells went off, because us oldies all know that the only people who ever ask that question all live under the 20 years of age bracket. lol
So I hedged a little and told him 'old', and the cheeky scamp asked 'how old'.
So I told him 'old enough to be in the Over 30 and Gaian Guild' *waves Hello Guild*
And bugger me if the wee lad didn't scarper as fast as his youthful legs could carry him. He just up and left, without so much as a 'seeya grandma'. blaugh
So I played a few games then went and checked out his profile *hi Lieutenant Keyes*
The dear lad is only 17 and dreams of playing computer games for a living, bless. 4laugh
Why are the yoof of today so shocked to realise that oldies like the interwebz too?!
Mind you I have to give him full credit his few words were correctly spelt and made perfect sense, an increasing rarity these days.
So embrace your elder brethren, children, there is room enough in Gaialand for all! biggrin

The Rambling Musings of GeekyTanta
Call it a 'stream of consciousness'. It can be anything, anytime, mostly here.
A bit of rambling, some ranting and general stuff I stumble across through the net.
And, hopefully *fingers crossed* some writing, too.
Absinthe makes the mind go wander.
