Rules:
- - If a Pokemon faints, it is dead and should be released.(I'm putting mine in a box instead.)
- All Pokemon must be nicknamed.
- Only the first Pokemon in any area may be caught.(You can only catch one Pokemon on Route 101, on Pokemon on Route 102, so on and so forth.)
Personal rules:
- - No use of potions, or other healing items, during battle, but outside is fine.
Pokemon caught today:
- - Torchic; Chumbly
- Wurmple; Wormy, cliche I know, but it's also a refrence to Spongebob
- Zigzagoon; Reese
- Seedot; Balto
- Wurmple; Wormy Jr.
Graveyard:
- - Wormy - Lv.5 - Damn you Bide, and me not paying attention.
- Balto - Lv.4 - Weirdly enough he was using Bide, two critcals in a row. Thanks for that game, but I have to say I'm glad he's gone. Bide and Harden isn't much help, and he doesn't learn any good moves for awhile.
What happened today: Started of course. Picked Torchic and named hime Chumbly. This is my first time trying a Nuzlocke playthrough, so I was really nervous fighting my rival with just Chumbly. Just after the fight caught Wurmple, now Wormy, and Zigzagoon just after, Reese. Also caught a Seedot. I lost two Pokemon, luckily before I had much of an attachment. I don't miss Seedot, but I'll miss Wormy.
Route 104 caught another Wurmple, his name is Wormy Jr.
Party Update:
- - Chumbly - Lv.10
- Reese - Lv.7
- Wormy Jr. - Lv.4
And of course my life is ruined. For some reason it seems like I didn't save even though I'm 90% sure I saved, but whatever. Anyway, just take out Wormy dieing, catching Seedot. Everything else I'll just put on day 2.

Good luck, I'll keep up on Chumbly curious as to what will happen.
My best advice at this time is to grind grind grind. When the professor asks you to go see his child/your rival. I had my Treecko up to at least 10 by that point, to ensure it was an easy kill.
Use Bulbapedia to be aware of what sorts of challenges await you, and try to be ahead of them usually by 2-5 levels.
