Mutants: Chapter Two

This is my second chapter to my story. Please leave a comment after you read it.

When I opened my eyes, there was chaos. Sparks, peices of metal, peoplewas flying around. I sat up and looked around. My vision was blurry, but I could still see that the place was getting raided. Not by police, but by mutants. There was seven mutants in all. I couldn't see where my uncle, if he was even that anymore, was still here. I felt really heavy and tired, but I still pulled herself to my feet.

"Watch out!"

The shout came from behind. I jumped out of the way as a person covered in ice raced by. I rubbed her eyes and checked again to make sure I saw what I did, but he was gone. I dodged another person and ran over to the wall, where I hid in a corner. I was getting really dizzy and just wanted to sleep. I hid my face as the fight went on.

About ten minutes later, the sound ceased. I looked up cautiously. All the mutants seemed fine, but the humans were strewn all over the place, either dead, or just unconcious, I didn't know. The mutants were looking around for any mutants and I stood up. They all looked at me and I slowly put my hand up and waved.

"Is she one of theirs?" One of the mutants, closest to me, asked. He was tall with his brown pointed up. His beard was short, but it made him look mean. His brown eyes looked bored, and I immediatly felt insulted. I took a step forward, and crossed I arms.

"I don't know who you think you are, but I would watch your mouth if I were you," I said to him. He glared at me, and was about to say something back, but another mutant, a woman, stoped him.

"Logan, stop. She's just a child. She wouldn't work for Stryker," She said, tucking a peice of her pure white hair behind her ears. She looked back at me with peircing silver eyes. "We need to get her back to the school. Come on," She held her hand out to me, but I didn't take it.

"What have you done with my uncle Stryker?" I stared the woman right in the eye. I wasn't afriad of this woman. Apparently the others were, for they looked at her nervously, waiting for her to move.

The man, Logan, threw his hand up into the air. "See? She is his neice. Now can you still say she doesn't work for him? No, she definatly works for him," Logan put his hand over his mouth and started to pace. I stayed quiet, for I had a weird feeling that he wouldn't fell guilty to kill me.

The woman shook her head. "No, we take her back to the school, and see what the professer has to say," With that she turned and walked through the door. A few other mutants followed her, including Logan. I was left with two of them, a younge girl, and a man, who was wearing a strange pair of glasses. They were obviously waiting for me to go through the door.

"Where are we going?" I asked. I wasn't going anywhere unless they told me where we were going. I looked around casualy, looking for my uncle. I couldn't see him anywhere. Maybe he got away, I thought with joy. But I frowned a few seconds later, when I remembered what he had tried to do to me.

"Some where safe for people like us," The man said, taking a step forward. He placed his hand on my arm, and I followed him out the door. I looked around at the hallway and frowned. It was destroyed like the room she just left. She wrinkled her nose as a nasty smell filtered in through a door. I stopped and took a step toward the door, but was yanked back by the man. He was frowning at me and I stared right back. I yanked my arm out of his grasp and followed the girl out into the open. I squinted as bright light bounced off.
Right in the middle of the snow covered earth, was a sleek black jet. It looked like some kind of secret agent thing. "Come on," The guy grabbed my arm and pulled me toward the jet.

Hey Alex, I found an error in your story. Instead of 'I rubbed her eyes and checked again to make sure I saw what I did, but he was gone.' Shouldn't it be 'I rubbed my eyes and checked again to make sure I saw what I did, but he was gone.'
Other than that your story is superb as usual.
