FINALLY!!!
THERE ARE A PLETHORA OF THINGS THAT HAVE FINALLY HAPPENED!

First off, I would just like to state the most exciting of these things: the last light in my room finally burnt out. I am so happy! I guess I'd better explain. You see, probably around spring in the 5th grade, one of the lights in my room went "pop!" and then it didn't shine anymore. Same thing happened in 6th grade, about a year later. So in the spring of 7th grade, I was totally and completely expecting the last light in my room to burn out (obviously, there are three lights). But it didn't. So after all this waiting, it has finally burnt out. I am so thrilled! I even had to call someone to explain my happiness! Apparently, all those minutes of flipping the light switch on and off payed off! Really radical, right? I'm just so delighted that after all this waiting, I get to put new lights in my room! I don't even remember what my what my room looks like with all three lights on! My friends think I'm insane because I didn't just replace the brunt out lights with new lights right away, and that I've been waiting for the last light to burn out before I replace any of them, but it sure makes sense to me. I can't wait to put all new lights in!

Secondly, though this is not the happiest "finally" to be put in here, my iPod, Chaos, received on December 17, 2010, has almost died. If you have read my past entries, you will know that I am very..."connected" to my iPods. When one dies, I take it very hard. However, this is the best thing–for once, I must not be depressed about getting a new iPod! Yes, not only to I get to keep Chaos (keeping the iPod's body is very important to be, sort of like getting an urn or burying someone in a cemetery), but Chaos still lives! The only thing wrong with Chaos was that his/its headphone jack was broken, so when I put my headphones in, the music couldn't be heard in both ear-things, and such (I checked–it was not the headphones). During Chaos's appointment at the Apple Store, it was determined that the headphone jack could not be repaired. So, I was getting a new one. (I refuse to give Chaos up, so I just bought a whole new one, getting Apple care with it.) My new iPod Classic, a 160GB dazzler, has been named Endings to Beginnings. I'm very happy with Endings so far, and I know I have to be extra careful with him/it/ so this iPod survives the full two years of Apple care it/he has. I don't want to give up this one's body, either. (By the by, my iPod chronology goes something like this: BlackDragon (Video iPod), Death Itself (iPod Classic), Intruder II (iPod Classic), Chaos (iPod Classic), and Endings to Beginnings (iPod Classic). All my iPods are named for particular reasons, but I suppose I shall explain that another time.

The last "finally" is that the nook (this thing in our house which consists of a bunch of shelves built into the walls, that we put chargers, phones, office supplies, and pretty much everything else that will fit on it on) has actually been cleaned. Particularly the book shelf area of it. You can now see all the books on it, as there are no longer other books and random piles of stuff in front of it. Pretty much all the books on it are mine, and mine alone, except for a cookbook of my mom's, and then the dictionary and thesaurus, plus a few mathematical books of my dad's (such as Differential Equations of Applied Mathematics).

Oh, actually, one last "finally!" I swear this is it! I've finally gone back to typing in my book regularly! I'd forgotten how incredible it was to type out all of my character's actions, to pound away on the keyboard while listening to whatever songs are playing on my iPod. So I'm really back to me! (If that makes any sense!) It's pretty spiffy.
