Even though I only saw you once a year, you were like a sister to me.
Now that you’re gone, it is like a huge part of my heart was taken away.
Keeping you in our memories, we will always love you.
You always made me smile, and I remember trying not to cry when I last saw you.
Seeing you in pain, I wanted to cry, and I knew that it would come.
But you were the most optimistic person I ever knew.
Even now, knowing you’re gone, the pain sinks in.
