"Destiny sucked for various reasons

Tons of stock footage. We had Impulse turning into Strike, Kira going into Seed mode with Athrun's Seed, Strike Freedom turning into Freedom with footage directly ripped from the final battle of Seed. Shinn started off as a hurt war orphan that wanted to stop people from going through what he went through. He was turned into an attack dog by the end of the series. Cagalli was a pretty strong character in Seed but in Destiny all she did was cry, Athrun went through a circular evolution, Rey suddenly decided he was Rau and randomly revealed he was a clone towards the end of the series, Neo basically got off with no punishment after letting the Destroy loose in Berlin by randomly being Mwu, Kira and Lacus had no development and the world bent to her will, The EA were completely destroyed 5 episodes before the end of the series, we got like 5 ships going against all of ZAFT and winning, Rey and Shinn were called away from the Minerva as a plot device so Kira and Athrun could run loose for an episode and destroy s**t, the Extended weren't developed, Talia randomly sacrificed her life and left her child to a woman she didn't even know, Rey randomly shot Durandal, Lunamaria and Shinn randomly hooked up, Meyrin deserted ZAFT for a guy she barely talked to, Cagalli gave her fathers last memento away to a guy that just defected from the enemy forces after only using it once, Meer randomly sacrificed herself her Lacus and they wasted a whole episode on her backstory after barely paying attention to her, Yzak and Dearka randomly deserted ZAFT after doing nothing all series for no reason whatsoever,"
