So Leon and Lydia fight terribly... Leon storms out. Probably paces back and forth in the kitchen for a little while, then catches sight of the closet where he and Drake had that one time. The same time Lydia caught them. He'd act mostly on impulse and out of emotional pain, just looking for some other drug to numb the withdrawal he's feeling from the other drug, you know? But still he'd storm down the hall towards Drake's room, pound on the door... 5:38 PM
Kiki: Drake would,,, 5:38 PM
Ash: Come up behind him, arms crossed. "Chastity's taking her nap in there. Try not to wake her, this time, would you? It's hard enough putting a five year old down for nap time." 5:43 PM
Kiki: Leon... hm... He'd probably stay with his back to Drake for a couple seconds, kind of embarrassed that he's after this when Drake's daughter is right there. 5:50 PM
Kiki: Then turn around and lean back against the door, give Drake a strange look, and say something... I can't think of what though... 5:50 PM
Ash: Mayeb he doesn't have the chance to say something. Maybe Drake stops him before he can like "Let's take this upstairs." 5:55 PM
Ash: So they both go upstairs and.... 5:55 PM
Kiki: I can almost see Leon demanding dominance now... He's angry and hurt and scared... He'll react like an animal. He'll seek to reaffirm his own strength. 5:56 PM
Kiki: So Drake goes into some room first... Leon behind him... Leon closes the door rather forcefully. It's not been said yet, but the implication is certainly there. 5:57 PM
Ash: Drake would stand in the middle of the room, not turning to Leon, and be like "You have a wife." 6:01 PM

Kiki: "It used to be a married man was not only expected but praised if he had affairs." 6:02 PM
Ash: "Lydia's been through this one. You wanna do it to her again?" 6:03 PM
Kiki: "Why do you care so much? Don't tell me it's because she's your cousin. When Viraj went with Farrah behind her back you hardly even blinked." 6:04 PM
Ash: Drake would turn to him, all seriousness. "She's good for you, Leon. You don't want to screw that up. You need her." 6:05 PM
Kiki: -shakes head- "But I don't want her. Not anymore. Not right now." 6:06 PM
Ash: At this point, if Leon's really gonna assert his authority for once he'd better take that line and run with it. Grab Drake and push him down into the couch. Otherwise Drake might very well talk him out of it. lol He'd stand there and talk all day if he had to, because he doesn't want to see Leon make a choice he'd regret for the rest of his life. 6:10 PM
Kiki: lol I was thinking that, but I didn't wanna say it in case you had something else in mind. Glad we're on the same page lol So Leon says "But I don't want her. Not anymore. Not right now." and as he's speaking the final sentence he rushes at Drake and starts kissing him. Really forceful. Really aggressive. They go at it, and then... What? 6:12 PM
Ash: Well like I said, Leon should push him down on the couch, start at him like they used to. Drake is just going to kinda lie back and let Leon take out his frustration. You know how like some best friends let their friend beat them up? lol Well it's like a totally homo version of that >.> Drake hates that Leon is doing this just because he's mad at his wife, and yet he wants it so badly he can't bring himself to stop it. So his conscience settling middle ground is to let Leon do all the work, if that makes sense lol 6:15 PM
Kiki: It does =) I like it. So once Leon's vented his frustration and they're both exhausted from it, Drake would...? 6:17 PM
Ash: "You know she's going to find out sooner or later. -pant pant- She always does...sooner or later..." 6:18 PM
Kiki: "That's not my problem right now. And it's not yours either. Why are you so f*cking concerned about all this, Drake? A year ago you wouldn't have cared, so long as I was willing and conscious during the sex. What is up with you?" 6:20 PM
Ash: Drake would just kinda shake his head and get up, start getting dressed again. "You should talk to her." and then walk away feeling sick with guilt. 6:22 PM

Kiki: Oooh... Leon's gonna get maaaaad.... He'll jump up and be like "Drake! Answer me, goddamn it! I'm sick of people trying to walk away from s**t they don't wanna deal with! I'm dealing with crap from Lydia already, just... For Christ's sake! Don't make me have to take it from you too!" 6:23 PM
Ash: Drake would hold his gaze for a minute. I can see Leon as he talking grabbing Drake's shirt and pushing him against the wall and so when Drake is just silent afterward, holding his gaze, he grabs his shirt too, like fighting with himself on what to do next. He'd kiss Leon, then be like "Go to your wife, man. You're not getting any answers from me today." 6:26 PM
Kiki: "Same time tomorrow, then?" You know... the cover being like, So I might get answers this time tomorrow? but in reality Leon's asking if Drake will meet him here. Because he knows Drake wanted it just as desperately as he did. 6:29 PM
Kiki: Because you know Leon's not going to want to even see Lydia after this... 6:29 PM
Ash: And asking him why with every step, same time the next day Drake would be crawling the stairs, fighting with himself to not go, telling himself they'll just talk this time, turning around every once in a while and then turning back and saying that no, he needs to see Leon and talk him out of this. 6:31 PM
Kiki: And of course he fails and they wind up all over each other again. 6:33 PM

Ash: Hmm...how long would Leon need? 6:34 PM
Kiki: To remember how much he loves Lydia and that Drake was right? Mm... Idk... maybe a month? 6:34 PM
Ash: A month. Okay. So how will the progression go? 6:37 PM
Kiki: The progression of their fling? Hm... They'd probably go from the wild sex, toning it down to some heavy making out and talking for much of the night while Lydia thinks Drake is with Cassie and Leon is holed up working. 6:39 PM
Kiki: Then near the end... I think Leon would go back to it just being sex. Because he's starting to realize that he doesn't have the emotional connection with Drake he has with Lydia. So he starts using him just for sexual release. 6:40 PM
Ash: So Drake would probably not show up one day. He just can't bring himself to do this to Lydia or to help Leon do this to himself anymore so he just stays away one day. 6:42 PM
Kiki: And that would end it? Or did you have something else in mind? 6:43 PM
Ash: I see him going back the next day and finding Lydia...or better yet the day that Drake isn't there Lydia is, sitting there in the room waiting for him, spinning her wedding ring in her fingers, not wearing it. 6:45 PM
Kiki: Outwardly: "Lydia... hey... What, uh... What are you doing up here? Don't you have to work on some make-up designs?" Inwardly: "YIPE ._. " 6:47 PM
Ash: "I asked Jessica to finish up for me today." not looking up. just turning the ring over and over in her hands. 6:48 PM
Kiki: -nods- "Cool. So... What's going on? Is the... -swallows- Is the baby alright?" 6:50 PM
Ash: She nods, but can't say anything for the moment because her throat is closing up from the tears she's swallowing back. 6:53 PM
Kiki: He knows it's coming. He knows, he's not stupid, he knows he's caught lol. But still he'd probably go to her, not sit down, but reach out and try to touch her shoulder. Almost in an apology...but not quite. 6:55 PM
Ash: She'd stand up and walk a few steps away, then turn and hold the ring out to him. "Do you want me to wear this anymore?" 6:56 PM
Kiki: He'd be quiet... "I'm not the one who took it off your finger. That was all you. I put it there, I haven't moved it since..." 7:01 PM
Ash: "I didn't ask you who took it off, Leon. I asked if you still want me to have it on. Because lately you haven't been treating me half as decent as you did when you hated me. You don't even wear your ring anymore." (I kinda picture he takes it off when he's with Drake, especially towards the end just to kinda prove that he's realizing what he's doing isn't right.) 7:03 PM
Kiki: "Look, what do you want me to say?" (Does she know he's been cheating with Drake?) 7:04 PM
Ash: (She suspects but can't prove anything.) "The truth, Leon. That's all I've ever asked of you! I just want you to tell me the truth!" 7:06 PM
Kiki: Are they both yelling by this point? 7:07 PM

Ash: I can't see that they are quite yelling yet but definitely raised voices. 7:08 PM
Kiki: Okay. Then he'd reply "Why should I bother?! You've already made up your mind, haven't you?? No matter what I say or do, you've already chosen your path, so why should I bother telling you anything?" 7:09 PM
Ash: (she's yelling now. And crying. but her voice gets less loud and more shaky as she goes on.) "Maybe because I'm still your wife! Maybe...because I still want to be!" She'd look away from him and down at the ring. "Maybe because this means more to me then a government document and a shared income. And just maybe...because deep down it still means something to you too." She'd look up, hopeful, at Leon. Like silently begging him to agree with her. 7:14 PM
Kiki: (He hates it when she cries, so that'll be the final push for him. He'll blurt out) "I've been f*cking him!! There, that's the truth!! And yes, I want you to keep wearing this ring, I just don't know if it's f*cking worth it anymore!" 7:17 PM
Ash: She'd drop the ring. Not at the first confession, but at the last. She'd drop it and her shaking hands would go to her mouth to cover her gasps while she tries to swallow back sobs. Lydia would just totally crumble. She wouldn't be able to stop herself from crying. She'd fall to her knees, her legs giving way beneath her, and she'd just sit there and sob. She wouldn't be able to say or do anything else for the next several minutes. 7:20 PM
Ash: My question is, would Leon stick around to find out what she had to say? Or would he leave? 7:20 PM
Kiki: When she falls to the ground he'd think their fighting had done something to the baby, or that the emotional stress on her would do something to it. So once she hits the floor, he'll go right after her. Crawl to her, want to take her in his arms and hold her and touch her abdomen to make sure the baby is okay... Would she let him touch her though? 7:22 PM
Kiki: He can't just stand there and watch her, so even if she won't let him touch her he has to do something... 7:22 PM
Ash: I honestly don't even think she'd realize. She'd just be so broken over the fact that he'd say something like that, especially when they're expecting a baby. 7:24 PM
Ash: You know there's the devastated where you don't want anyone to touch you. and then there's the broken where the world no longer exists because all you can hear and see and feel is whatever it was that broke you. That's where Lydia would be. 7:25 PM

Kiki: Okay. So then he'd actually probably catch her in his arms once she collapses, then kind of lower them both to the ground more gently than having her just fall. So he'd hold onto her and let her cry, probably starting to cry himself since he hates how far they've fallen and how badly he's hurt her. 7:26 PM
Ash: Once she'd had a good llong cry and realized he was holding her she'd probably crawl away, pick up the ring and sit back down where the ring was. Look up at him, surprised he's also crying. But I honestly don't think she'd be able to say anything. She'd just kinda sit there and stare at the ring in her palm, not really sure what to do next. 7:31 PM

Kiki: lol I love when Leon gets mushy like that too <3333 lol So yes... If she crawls away and picks up the ring and obviously doesn't know what to do... I think he'd probably stay where he was, try to meet her eyes, and once he has, whisper "I'm so sorry..." 7:32 PM

Ash: Okay so here's Lydia then would be able to voice her piece. With the ice broken, the first words said, she'd find her voice again. "What am I supposed to now, Leon? I'm carrying your baby, and....and you're doubting whether this is all worth it anymore? What does that even mean? What am I supposed to say to that?" She'd kinda start tearing up again as she spoke but she'd be able to control her tears now that she's had a moment to really let it all out. 7:37 PM
Kiki: Hm... I think at this point Leon doesn't even remember all the things they fought over. He doesn't even remember what she did that pissed him off so much that he threw himself at Drake to stop thinking about her. 7:40 PM
Kiki: So when she asks him what she's supposed to do now... 7:40 PM
Kiki: I think he'd just sit back against the wall and put his head in his hand, resting his elbow on his knee, and just be like "I don't know... I don't know, Lydia... All I know is that... Is that I love you. And you're the only person who's ever made me cry, so that has got to mean something... But I'm probably not saying the right thing, am I? I never do, I don't, I know I don't... Ash: Seeing him like that coupled with how much she loves him Lydia wouldn't be able to say that they're over. But at the same time she won't be able to forget what he said. She knows him well enough to know that for all the s**t he talks he never says anything without an once of truth to it. And he usually tells the truth in the harshest of ways. That's why she fell in love with him, and that's why she's falling apart. So...I think she'd stand, walk over to Leon and put the wedding ring in his palm and be like "Hold onto that for me. I'll be back." She'd go find Drake, playing some tea party game with his daughter, and be like "Excuse me, sweety, but Aunt Lydia needs a word with daddy." Drag him out of the room. "Lydia, I know you're mad. I'm sorry. I told him not to do it but..." *punch* "well....that's the second time someone's punched me over that damn smart-a**." "Don't make it a third." Then she'd walk back upstairs and hold out her hand for the ring. "Come on. Jessica took over for me because I have a doctor's appointment today and we're late. Get up." Kinda like trying to pretend it didn't happen for now. They can both take some time to lick their woulds before they pick this up again, but also that silent "I'm still hurt but I've forgiven you and I'm still a tough cookie so lets move on" type thing lol 7:51 PM
Kiki: They should reseal their marriage by him climbing into bed next to her and waking her up by sliding the ring back onto her finger. But only halfway. He stops at her knuckle and then waits for her to move her hand forward to accept him again. 7:53 PM

Ash: lol I picture Lydia taking Cassie out to the park. Kinda like...since she doesn't have a mom anymore Lydia feels that motherly instinct and wants to take over the job for a while. So one afternoon while Lydia is out with Cassie Leon catches Drake flipping through pictures to pick out the ones he wants to send to the magazine this month lol You know... "working" lol And he asks him that. And Drake tries to shove it off like he did before. "Because you love Lydia and you don't want to hurt her." and Leon would push again and he'd make up another excuse and Leon would push again, back and forth until he was pushed far enough and Drake would slam his fists down on the table "Damn it, Leon! Because I love you. I unicorns and rainbows love you. But you're married. To my cousin, a damn good woman. A WOMAN. So there's the end of it. I missed out. The end." Shoves his work off the table, gets up and walks out. 8:01 PM
Ash: Pride and shame laid out on the table for Leon to see clear as day. It would take a lot for Drake to admit that even to himself. he'd even be shocked to hear himself say it outloud. 8:02 PM

Ash: lol Um...oh but the reason I asked, by the way, is that I imagine Leon won't be sleeping with Lydia for a long while, so when he puts the ring on her finger again that's the first night they have sex since the big fight and it's just all about proving their love to each other! Eeep! <333
