Bowser
GIVE'EM HELL!!!
Bowser stared in amazement.
Lex turned into a large winged panther, and Koopa transformed into a large red tiger.
They both started to fight again and it seemed like they would never stopped. The roof was covered in t blood and fur.
Bowser didn't know what to do. He grabbed the gem and threw it clear off the roof and what seemed like miles away.
In the absence of the gem, Lex turned back to normal and feel to this knees. Koopa didn't hesitate to pounce him, but Bowser cut her off and pinned her to the ground. "How come she didn't turn back?! He yelled, wrapping his hand around her neck. She clawed the ground, reaching for Lex, then tries to pull free of Bowser's hands, gasping for air.
Eventually, she passed out in his grip. He threw Koopa over his shoulder and picked up Lex, since Lex could barely stand on his own, and headed inside.
After two days, Koopa was back to work in the basement and Lex was still out searching for his jewel that Bowser threw off the roof. Bowser went down the basement steps and into the room where Koopa was working.
"You never really told me what you were working -"
"Glad you're here. I need your help. How do you get warp pipes to work?"
"why are you asking me?"
"Please?"
"What are you doin?"
"I want to leave Mushroom kingdom. I wanna go somewhere where I can get a fresh start. ok? I mean. I love ya like a father and everything, but I can't just sit still and everything. I wanna see what else is out there. And I want to be able to take care of myself."
Without saying another word, Bowser went up the stairs and closed the door behind him. Koopa lowered her head and sat in silence for a few, then got back to work. About a 30 minutes later, the door flew open. She heard something tumble down the steps and Bowser yelling, "NOW GET TO WORK!" Just as she ran to the steps, the door at the top closed . Luigi stood to his feet and dusted himself off, and looked at me. He asked about this 'work' Bowser had him brought here to do.
Later that night. Koopa helped Luigi sneak off the castle grounds and spent the rest of the evening watching TV with Bowser. He barely talked to her, but smiled at her often, as if he wanted to say something but couldn't.
Finally, words formed in his throat "So when are you going?"
"Soon...not sure when."
"Right...well lets go." He said, getting up.
"Go where?"
"Get your stuff together."
They went to Koopa's room and packed about a third of her things into a large back pack, then headed back downstairs where the warp pipe was. Koopa sat on the edge of the pipe with the bag on her back and smiled at Bowser.
"Thanks for everything. I'll be sure to make it back here every once in awhile to visit. Oh...make sure to get rid of this pipe when you're done. Don't need your minions or that goit Lexuis followin me. "
He smiled a smile Koopa rarely seen on him. It was a warm and comforting type of smile. "You just take care of yourself. Ok?"
"Yeah. I will. Tell Lex I won't miss him either."
She was already descending into the pipe when she heard Bowser yell out to her "Give'em Hell!"
After she had completely disappeared into the pipe, Bowser destroyed the entire room where the pipe was. The computer, the warp pipe and everything were completely useless now. After he had done this, he went back upstairs and plopped down in front of the tv.
Lex came in the next day. He was holding the strange gem in his hand and his clothes were torn. After an hour, he realized that Koopa wasn't around. When he asked where she was, Bowser's only reply was "Away"
Lex never found out exactly what had happened, but over time, lost interest in staying with Bowser. Once he realized that she wasn't coming back, he left as well, to search for the lands in which he was born, and learn more about his past.
Far away, in what seems like a totally different world, the cat girl was laying in the middle of the road, using her back pack as a pillow. Her eyes slowly opened to the blue skies above.
"It worked"
She got up and stretched, then got her stuff together and continued down the road. Her eyes fell upon on sign along side the road as she approached a small town.
The sign only read four words...
WELCOME TO BARTON TOWN
THE END!
